I can hear my son breathing in it and it is on the floor beside his crib and I can hear everything in the living room so I do not have to move it from room to room. great price and works great!

I WOULD NOT BUY THIS ITEM IF YOU PAID ME TO..

With baby monitors, I think its actually more worth it to spend more than you might want too, expecially if your going to have more than one baby.

But the great thing about more expensive monitors is you can resell on say craigslist etc.

The reason I hate this monitor is because we live in a tiny 2 bedroom apartment yet this hardly picked up when our baby would cry!...and we would be only one room away..

It has a ton of static, doesnt pick up what you want it too but then picks up other things you really dont want too.

Even if you find it for $2, its not worth it!
