I just started using the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails clear coat for my nails and I love it. You really can't go wrong at the price point. I am going to try some more colours because for $2 at the dollarama you really can't go wrong and you can get the whole rainbow.

I bought Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails in the colour Set in Stone (180). It's a very light, pretty soft pink. This is most definitely not a one coat and you're done, kind of polish. After 3 coats it finally looks a little opaque, but I can still clearly see the white tip of my nail. It's a pretty decent shade in matching my own natural colour, but it's just not opaque enough for my tastes. I Googled some images for it to see what other people thought and the Set in Stone colour actually starts looking nice at around the 5 coat mark. That's crazy to me. I'm a 2 coat, max kind of person, plus 1 application of top coat for protection of the hard work.

Another huge con is the smell. I have smelled some nail polishes before (granted, a long time ago), but if anything, I feel like the smell of the Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails polish is eye watering and gag worthy. My husband actually ordered me to take it outside because his own eyes were watering from the potent smell.

I honestly don't know how anyone can put up with the smell of this polish, even if they do manage to get a colour that is actually opaque where they only need one or two coats.

I do like the level of shine, but I think next time I'll go for a deeper pink and I won't be using this brand again.

Love this brand of nail polish have several colours and it works great and lasts! I do recommend using a bottom and top coat. I find it really helps to make the polish last longer especially if you hand wash dishes!

They shade i got was blackest black ( or something like that! :) ) It worked really well ! within one coat it was really black and then all I had to do was put on a top coat ! It's not a bad price either so its sort of a win win .

I BOUGHT THE PRODUCT -GREAT COLOUR FOR SUMMER (have to give it that) BUT AFTER TWO DAYS IT STARTED TO CHIP- AND I HAD PUT TO TOP CLEAR COATS ON

I do a fierce French tip with Sally Hansen's Heartbreaker (black) as the base and use this for my tips. Get so many compliments.

I live for my black nail polish, most I have tried take three or four coats to get a nice glossy look. Two coats of this and I am done. Nice and shiny and hardly chips. Also strengthens my nails.

Our local Walgreens was having a sale on these little beauties, and for .99 cents, I could NOT pass them up. The ones I've used so far are great. They go on with complete coverage after one to two coats, and are brightly colored. It was completely worth the spontaneous purchase.

I picked this up last week because WalMart had it on sale for only $2, so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m happy it was only $2 because it wasn’t very good at all. It went on kind of clumpy in spots and streaky in others. It took me a long time to get my nails to look half way descent. How ever with in a few hours I noticed that little bubble like bumps seemed to have formed on every nail. Then with in two more hours the polish started to chip away. I was pretty disappointed with this polish even though I only paid $2 for it. Sally Hansen’s usually has much better products then this polish is. So I wouldn’t recommend you buy Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nail Rockin’hard nail polish even if you find it on sale.
