91% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I purchased this polish in the color "White On" because I needed white polish and it was cheap. It went on a little uneven and took more than 2 coats to cover effectively. I used it again less than a month later and it was already chunky and gross. Will not be buying this again.
This is not the greatest nailpolish - it does the job, but it takes forever to dry and lasts probably a day or two before it starts chipping (if you sit around doing nothing for a day or two)... It's cheap... you get what you pay for...
I DO NOT LIKE THIS NAIL POLISH!
Maybe its because I have been spoiled with awesome OPI nail polish since I can remember (and yes it is more pricey but friggen worth it!!)
Its not that huge of a price difference here in canada, between sally hansen and OPI, thats why I prefer to pay a little more for quality.
I find this nail polish chips right away, takes along time to dry, and never lasts as long as Id like.
no go for me!
I grabbed a bunch of these at a $1 sale so I feel rather bad writing a middling review, but while these are amazing cheap colours, keep in mind the quality is about right for the price too.
I'm currently wearing Cherry Red but also own Crushed and another dark Blue velvet colour (the label wore off!) these are only 'interim' nails. The polish is quite thick and I find the brush tends to glob more often than not. With a great base and topcoat this nail polish is improved but I find it's EAAASILY chipped. So the actual polish itself isn't very effective, only with other, more expensive top and basecoats.
So for $1 I can't REALLY complain, if only for the variety of colours, but don't expect these to last longer than a weekend.
Ok, since then I've purchased a bunch more of this brand and have to say my initial comments were a bit harsh. I've used this more than my OPI as of late because I like the precision of the brushes and how they don't gunk up on the bottle. With a good top coat, these can last just as long as China Glaze or OPI. I'd avoid the opaque colours though, a solid colour will only need 2 coats but a white or beige will require at least 3.
I have mixed feelings on this nail polish.. It's not very good quality but the colour makes me keep using it :P
1. It's very thick, which makes it difficult for applying, let alone a second coat.
2. If you don't put a clear coating in top, it will literally start to chip in minutes :(
3. It's pretty slow-drying.
4. The colours are GORGEOUS! I have silver but there are many bright, bold colours!
THEY HAVE SOME GREAT COLOURS, BUT IT CHIPS QUITE SOON AFTER YOU APPLY, IF YOU DONT MIND REAPPLYING AFTER A FEW HOURS, ITS WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE AND THE COLOUR RANGE, OR IF YOU ARE INTO THE CHIPPED LOOK.
