Best top coat and I've tried them all! Dries nail colour fast and makes my manicures last like no other.

This top coat is a god-send!! I don't know how I ever survived without a top coat. I was never fully intrigued by the idea of a top coat --adding another layer of polish, takes more time, more $$ to spend, but boy was I ever wrong. A good top coat is a worthy investment for all you nailpolish addicts. I'm a self-confessed perfectionist so if there is ever a small dent or any visible flaw in my nail polish application I will remove and re-do. Nail polish application with no top coat usually means smudging, pre-mature chipping through everyday wear and waiting for hours on end for it to dry.

I first tried sally hansen's mega shine topcoat, and though it dried quickly and provided righteous shine, my one major gripe about that topcoat was that shortly after application over a color polish the topcoat would shrink and shrivel/wrinkle the color polish underneath (that's the best way I can explain it).

I figured I'd try the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri topcoat and fell in love, it's everything I've ever wanted in a top coat. So granted it doesn't have as great a shine as the megashine topcoat, it drys fast, prevents pre-mature chipping, and to my excitement does. not. wrinkle.

I am very happy with this product, it does everything is claims it's going to do. According to the website "After applying your favorite Sally Hansen Nail Color, wait two minutes, then apply one coat of Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat. Manicure will be dry to the touch in 30 seconds." And they're not lying, it really is dry to the touch in about 30 seconds. Plus it's super shiny and fairly durable. I apply another top coat about two days after my manicure and was very happy with the results.

Although this product isn't going to dry your nail polish to a hard smudge proof surface in only 30 seconds, it does help with preventing smudges right away if you're a little careful. It makes the nails dry to the touch after 30 seconds and I find after about 10 my nails are totally dry. I love the shine that it gives and it does help prevent chips. I like to apply it every few days to maintain a great shine and continuously prevent chipping.

This is a great go to top coat. I've used it up and repurchased several times over and for the price point it's excellent. I took it with me when I went on vacation and was walking in the sand a lot, reapplied every other day to keep my manicure and pedicure from chipping and getting dull from walking on the beach. I still get the odd chip when wearing this one so it's not the best on the market, but the price is good and I find it dries really fast.

I love the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat. Made from an acrylic polymer complex that dries nail polish in 30 seconds, this product is great for folks like me who are too impatient to wait half an hour (or more) for the colour to dry. In 10 minutes, I finished applying nail polish to my fingers - base coat, colour (one coat only), top coat, and Insta-Dri. You do have to wait two minutes after applying the top coat before applying the Insta-Dri, then give it a minute to dry and you're all set to go. I didn't have any problems with smudging, and it is dry to touch. I would definitely recommend this product.

This top coat is ok, but doesn't really work the way you might expect it to. The name "Insta-dri" is misleading for what it does. You apply your nail color, wait two minutes and apply this top coat and your nail polish is (to quote the label on the bottle) "dry to the touch in 30 seconds." While this is true - you need to know that "dry to the touch" only means if you barely touch your nails they won't smudge. If you bump your nails on something (grabbing your purse, put a shirt/jacket on, open a can of soda etc.) they're still going to smudge big time. You still need to wait 15-20 minutes or so (depending on how many coats of color you put on and how thick they are, humidity - you might be waiting a long time!) for your nails to dry completely before you can just go about your day without worrying about smudging them.

What's good about the product is that it does help prevent chips so your nail polish lasts longer than it would without the top coat. But, it's supposed to be a quick-dry product and it doesn't do that at all. There are other products out there that will help your nail polish to dry faster than it otherwise would that are far better than this.
