NAILPOLISH - Sally Hansen New Lengths with Teflon
color - 40 Bold Berry
sort of pinkish shade, but this flakes right off. wash your hands, and it comes off on the edges. color does not come nice, need 2 to 3 coatings.
Maybe because it was on sale for $2.00 at loblaws? Just one of those nail polish that I will never buy again.
But the Hard as Nails by Sally Hansen was awesome, so maybe this "new lengths" series is sloppy.
"new lengths" never buy again.
I have really long nails, and I'm a stay at home mom, I've been looking for a great nail polish that lasts, as I don't have a lot of time to dote on my nails sadly.
This is an amazing bottle of wonderful!!!!!!!!! The colour lasts and its so smooth to put on! Thanks for a great polish!
First thing I noticed about this bottle is that it appears to be a brown. I wouldn't consider brown to be "grape" in my opinion, but when you apply the first thin layer it really does look like a dark red grape. If you apply it thickly though it goes back to looking almost brown. If you're the kind of person who likes almost-black polishes, and I am, this is a nice colour. If you want a red-purple grape colour, just use one coat. Lasted a few days before chipping, and it has mixing balls which I always like. 13ml. Really good price.
I am a fan of putting a thin glitter coat over any bright coloured polish, but good glitter polishes are hard to find. This "urban chic" is particularly beautiful, the size of the glitter is VERY fine, and it shines all different colours of the rainbow. Have used the bottle many times and it has not lost it's thin consistency or become thick like glitter usually does. It also has mixing balls which is always a bonus. I love the colour and size of the glitter.
Yesterday I used a new bottle for the first time on my best friend,
Brand new, never before opened bottle.
But the consistency was super thick and goopy as if I had left it open for an hour or had used it many times before.
It definitely covered very thoroughly and it is very cheap but I do prefer nail polishes that are a little thinner and spread a little easier. This one did not create a flawless smooth finish because it was just too thick to manage.
