I first bought my Sally Hansen Gel Nail Kit a year ago. It is so easy to do your own nails at home with this product, and they're quickly done as well! The different colors availables rocks and if you do it right, it will stay on for two weeks! Oh and the lamp still works well!

I've done 2 manicures and both have held up fairly well. However, I've found that they aren't holding up as well as a salon manicure does. Some of that could be my own error since I'm not a pro, but the cost savings pretty much out weighs the fact that the manicure doesn't hold up as long. That said, be aware that doing a gel manicure yourself is time consuming! Plan on setting aside about an hour to do a proper job. Also, I've found that curing the product for longer than the directions say helps to get a better cure. I recommend looking up an online "how to" from a pro and following those directions. Between the pro's directions and you figuring out what works best for you, you'll get the hang of it in no time.

I do have very brittle nails and it does cause them to get messed up even more after the polish comes off but if you have good nails then I highly recommend this.

Works great. Lasted a good week for me and thats amazing as I bite my nails. Once I got the hang of putting the tips on they looked awesome! Would recommend to anyone who needs a quick nail that will last awhile.

If you like having awesome nails, or have crappy soft nails like me and want to be able to provide strength to them and grow, I definitely suggest getting a Sally Hansen gel nail kit. Easy to apply and provide salon quality. The only down side is that the LED light doesn’t dry them as quick as they claim. Took me a few minutes instead of the 30 seconds on the instructions. However adding a little time to the process to save money is totally worth it to me!
