I bought this to make beef jerky it was amazing at first than all of a suden the plastic trays started cracking and breaking to the point where their is only 3 trays left.. followed the instructions and washing instructions.. only had it for a month when all of it started

A pretty standard dehydrator

I use this to dry about 25 pounds of tomatoes every fall and it works like a charm. It has a range of temperatures and 5 stacking trays. The fan is fairly powerful too. I find it dries quickly and thoroughly with very little mess or fussing around. I use it for other things too - apple slices and mushrooms, mostly.
