Black Elderberry Immunity + Cold and Flu Relief Gu

I received 2 small plastics packets with 2 gummies and sadly they looked wet and tasted funny. I think they weren't fresh... I'd love to get a chance to try it again to be able to give a more accurate review.

Not my favorite taste

I’ve never really been a fan of vitamins but thought I’d give this one a try. Was a great time to try as I’ve been starting to feel a little icky. Got to say…not my favorite flavour. Thought that Elderberry was more berry tasting, but it was definitely more of a floral taste.

It was okay

I was happy to receive this product to try. I liked that the product came in gummy form. I did not, however, like the taste. To me it tasted like oregano. I would have preferred more of a fruity taste.

Too soon to tell

I received two packets of gummies from Butterly as part of a review campagin. I'd say taking just two (my spouse and I had two each) did not cause any dramatic changes in our health. I wish I had a full sized sample to be able to form a more informed opinion on the product.

Thank you Vitamin C!

I had the opportunity to try 4 of the gummies! First of all, it smells and taste great! Though it would mush and stick onto my teeth. So the next day, I took it without chewing it. I enjoyed the strong berries flavor in my mouth as it melted its way. I like it a lot, but if it can be less sweet, I would definitely stick with it.

Healthy gummy

I love gummies, even better if they have benefits. The flavour is not my favourite, but the consistency is good. I do not know if it is really effective for cold and flu, since I am not sick, but it’s good.

Average

For people with a busy lifestyle and unable to eat nutritiously, this product can provide a concentrated vitamins nutrients supplement. Although I'm always skeptical the claim of immunity boost and flu symptoms relief are merely placebo effect...

Tastes good, not so sure it works

These gummies tasted very good, a bit sour actually, but I do not know if they are actually effective or if it is merely a placebo effect. I was not necessarily sick while trying them, but I also did not see any changes or extra “immunity” against the common cold.

Tastes Fine But Does it Help?

I was very excited to be able to try these Black Elderberry Immunity + Cold and Flu Relief Gummies by Sambucol. The timing was perfect to recieve this sample as I have been fighting a cold this week.

I tried this product almost immediately and I was pleasantly surprised. When I opened the sachet of gummies, I got a nice hit of the black elderberry smell. Taste wise, the product does not disappoint. The berry flavour is there and I also picked up on some of the citrus. It's tasty enough. I enjoyed it.

I like that there is a good amount of zinc and vitmain C in this product. These are so important when you are feeling unwell. I loved being able to access this nutrition quickly and conveniently. It's a bonus that it tastes good and is easy to chew.

That being said, the ingredient list could be much better. The first ingredient is sugar. For a wellness product, this doesn't work. There is also not enough nutrition in the product to really combat anything. We need a ridiculous amount of vitamin C when we are sick and this simply isn't enough. I suppose for regular days, adding these gummies in would be fine. It would make sure you get your daily intake and that's helpful.

Overall though, I don't anticipate using this. It just doesn't provide enough nutrition given the cost and other alternatives out there (ex. Eating and Orange). I definitely appreciate the opportunity to try this though!

Tasty Way to Take Vit C and Zinc

They were tasty and would definitely help encourage me to take regular vitamin c and zinc. Would have liked to see some other immunity boosting ingredients included though.
