Okay but not black elderberry?

I received these for free in exchange for my honest review. As a sample, I only received 4 gummies total to try so I can't comment on long term effectiveness. These gummies are interesting. They don't have an overly chewy texture like candy gummies and they're a little gritty in texture. They do have a nice strong lemon and raspberry flavor. I'm not sure what black elderberries taste like but the ingredients only state raspberry and lemon. These gummies also contain sugar. I don't think these are something I would add to my daily routine as I'd rather just take a vitamin C supplement.

Advanced Immune Support

As someone who prioritizes immune health, I was interested in experiencing the benefits this product claims to offer, in particular the immune-boosting benefits of black elderberry extract. The gummies taste great and are easy to take; there are no artificial colors or flavors.
Given that I only received 4 gummies, which I took over 4 days, I cannot share an honest opinion about the product because I didn't feel any benefits. I feel that a decent trial would involve using this product for a couple of weeks rather than just 4 days.

Gummy Vitamins

When I received this to sample for free, I actually happen to be sick. I had a cough that was lasting for over a week and a bit of a stuffy nose.

Now with just 4 daily gummies to try I don't know just how effective it would be. So my review is solely about the taste and texture.

It claims "soft and easy to chew". I found the texture to be a bit weird. Having eaten other gummy vitamins in the past, this was definitely different. It almost felt like it was crumbling in my mouth as I applied pressure to it.

As for the taste, I've never tasted elderberries before so I had nothing to compare to flavourwise. However, it kind of reminded me of edible weed gummies and the aftertaste you get.

I would still give it another try with a full bottle next time for what the product is offering which is that it "helps reduce your cold and flu symptoms and the duration of illness."

Easy to take immunity gummies

I was selected to try the Sambucol Immunity Plus Coke and Flu gummies. The gummy texture was good but the gummies had an earthy taste I was not a fan of. They may help shorten cold and flu symptoms or lessen symptoms but with only a sample to try I give my opinion on that. They are easy to take as a gummy if swallowing pills is not for you.

Great product!

This product is great for you, this product contains elderberries which are great for the immune system. The taste is a little bit different, but the benefits are worth it. Would be great to take during flu/cold season!

Taste could be better

The taste of these gummies isn’t as I had expected. They have a little bit of a grainy texture which I’m not too keen about. I probably will stick with the gummy vitamins I already purchase.

Not really gummies

I had the opportunity to try these vitamins this week. They don't have the texture I thought they would have and I would not call them gummies. Taste-wise they are good and quite sweet but it's no surprise since sugar is the first ingredient on the list. I can't say if I will have any real benefits because the sample was very small.

Good Ingredients List, Tart Taste. Tried Sample.

I tried a sample package of the Sambucol Black Elderberry Advanced Immune Support With Vitamin C & Zinc.
I appreciate that these gummy vitamins are Vegan & Gluten Free, which is a nice option for those with dietary restrictions or those who just want to avoid. I also think the ingredients list is way better then other brands I have read. The Taste is a little tart and the texture is not what I expected. But they use cane sugar instead of artifical sweetners. colours, and preservatives which I highly prefer.

Too sweet

I’m a big fan of Sambucol brand black elderberry since it always in my cabinet for my kids. He also like its taste for the syrup, so when I saw this tester, I signed up immediately, however it led to a big disappointment to be honest due to its sweetness. I don’t like sweets so maybe I’m biased, but my husband likes sweets a lot as well as gummy, he also found this Sambucol gummy is way too sweet.
If you like sweets, have a try yourself, but if not, then maybe this is not right for you. But the other products like syrup still is my must buy for kids

Jury is still out

With two growing boys at home I'm always looking for ways to help keep them healthy. My boys love vitamin gummies so I was excited when I received the opportunity to try Black Elderberry Immunity + Cold and Flu Relief Gummies. I received them free to try from @thisisbutterly for my honest review.

I love the idea of a vitamin that can be taken daily to help boost immunity. I prefer being proactive with health instead of reactive and this is a great option if it actually does work. Alternatively as an option to aid cold symptoms like cough and sore throat is great as my children do not like some of the other meds available to alleviate cold symptoms. Nice to have the option.

Our opinion...we liked the vitamin gummy format but unfortunately the sample size didn't really offer a chance to see if there was any increased immunity or if it would help if we were sick. We got 2 days worth but outside of taste we can't honestly comment on much more than that as realistically it isn't a long enough time. The taste was ok and one to which we would need to get used to. It isn't overly sweet which is nice.  The texture and consistency was a bit off and my kids felt there was a grainy texture. It may be because they are just used to a smooth tecture. This didn't really impact the vitamin much but was something they did mention.

Overall the concept is great and I would like the chance to try these for a month to see if there are any health benefits. I will purchase them and give them a 30 day trial before deciding if they will continue to stay in our vitamin line up.
