Fun for hours

We bought this to fill with water at first and it was great for our youngest to splash around in and play little fishing games in but we found it extremely useful for sand! We hide little animals or colored shapes and numbers in there and he loves to dig and dig into he finds them all. It's great to see him go through the sand until he's found every last item in there and then he wants to say the names of everything he finds. So it's helped with motor skills, problem solving and speech. All of that learning from a table we bought more for fun time and it's been a great way to teach as well.
