Not sure how it actually works

I’m not sure how these are supposed to work. I placed a patch on a bug bite but only found it to be even more itchy for the first 24 hours. The patch stayed on really long which was good, but I didn’t notice a difference in how it treated my bug bites.

No picking or scratching with this

No more worries of scratching, iching or picking with Sarna Bug Bite patches. I tried it with my kids of 1 year and 4 years old and it works wonders. They got no counter reactions and were relieved almost immediately after mosquito and ant bites. Definitely adding to my bag for daily use.
I loved the fact that it's vegan, steroid free and latex free!!! A big win on this one.

Handy in a pinch, but not my personal favourite

These are handy if you are strapped for space and want to have them along since you’re going to a buggy area but they’re not strong enough in my standards for reducing itch/pain and don’t stick on super well if you’re moving around a lot

Semi effective

I recently got back from a camping trip just riddled with mosquito bites so I thought it would be the perfect time to try these patches out so I applied numerous patches to the effected areas but after giving them a few minutes to really demonstrate their effectiveness I ultimately found them to be a bit lacking, I was still itchy albeit a bit less than before the patches, but overall I was rather unimpressed.

Soothing

What an amazing product. After an evening of hiking and bugs this was a lovely patch to apply and so soothing. Reduced itch and most inflammation. Thank you!

For all ages, if they will keep them on.

I tried these on my toddler, who is outside every day and always getting bug bites. They seemed to work when she would actually keep them on. She would pick at them and take them off, which is a waste of the product. I wouldn’t recommend for toddlers. However, I tried them on myself and they worked well.

Effective for scratch prevention

I got this product for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest opinion.

Summer heat meant mosquitoes attack, and sure enough i have enough bites to apply this patch on. I gave it a foe days to try and this is what i noticed. 1) it is very effective from preventing me from scratching my bug bites at night when i am asleep. 2) it feels nice, and soothing for a couple hours after application. 3) it stays on the skin even during showers/waterproof.

Couple downsides i found were 1) it doesn't really do much about the amount of time the bite heals, it is still itchy no matter what for a couple of weeks. I am guessing it doesn't have enough component to keep the itch and the wheal from swelling. And 2) it rolls with my compression socks, it's the only time it doesn't want to stay on.

Overall, a good product, i would recommend.

Discreet and longlasting

It is a small transparent circular patch that is very discreet and has a lot of staying power which can be taken off and placed back on with no issues. While in use I didn't get any bites or reaction to the product. I have yet to test its effectiveness as an after bite product but have high hopes that it will aid with a fast recovery.

Minor relief

I tried the Santa bug bite patches on a bug bite before bed, as I tend to scratch in my sleep. The patch did stay on until morning, so I assume I did not scratch, but it was itching when I placed it on, and I think the itch prevention was more mind over matter than effectiveness. I have tried a second on the same bite and do find that I’m not inclined to scratch it. I like that the patches are clear, meaning they aren’t as obvious as a big blotch of calamine lotion.
