I always get eaten alive by all kinds of bugs irrespective of the number of bugs or people around me. In the past I’ve tried everything from sprays, patches, candles to ointments and bracelets but with little to no success.
When I tried these patches I was very skeptical about their effectiveness.
Naturally it came as a big surprise when I used them and they actually protected me and I didn’t end up looking like I had huge bites all over my arms and legs.
I didn’t feel any irritation or burning and there’s no awful over powering smell like there has been with patches, ointments etc I’ve used in the past.
Applying and removing them was also very easy and the patches stayed on despite my getting wet in the rain.
I’m so happy I discovered these patches - just in time for me to go camping next weekend as well! I’m definitely stocking up on more of these patches!

Works well but not sticky enough

These patches are nice, they work well to stop itching while in place, but we found they would fall off quickly after applied. Also for bigger or more itchy bites it is quite small in diameter

Immediate relief for the most irritating bug bites

These handy little bug bite patches from @sarnalotion are great for quick relief from bug bites. This summer has been exceptionally bad for mosquitoes, and as an active family, we kind ourselves perpetually covered in bites!

Nobody enjoys the itchy, irritating feel of a mosquito bite, and it's not easy to fight the urge to scratch that itch! Sarna to the rescue! Using a proprietary blend of aloe, chamomile, and witch hazel to soothe, these little patches pack a mean punch! 👊 They are also resistant to sweat, seamless and nearly invisible when applied, so we don't have to limit our activities while wearing them.

My only grievance with the product is the quantity versus price-point. At nearly $15 on Amazon for only 24 patches, these patches don't last long and are reserved for the worst bites or clusters of bites only.

Despite the price, I can say confidently that this product works and provides respite from intense itching 😬

It works

It really works. Ive got a couple of mosquitos bites and I put the Sarna patches in each of them. After about 20 minutes, they weren’t itchy anymore. I left them through the night to make sure the bites are away. I recommend!
The only thing is that when I took it off, I could feel my skin a little bit gluey but just rinsing the spot, it went away.

Overall, I have mostly great things to say about Sarna Bug Bite Patches. Let’s get the one negative out of the way first: I wish there were different size options. When camping, we sometimes get multiple bites in one area, and having various sizes would be perfect for better coverage.

Now, onto the positives. This product works pretty good! My kids and I used them while camping, and my husband took some for work when in a mosquito-filled area. He loves them and thinks they're the best thing since sliced bread! While they don’t completely eliminate the itch, they do take most of it away, which is a significant relief. They definitely helped prevent my kids from scratching their skin like crazy.

The patches adhere well to the skin and stay put, even after swimming, which is impressive. The product itself contains great natural ingredients like witch hazel, aloe, and chamomile, which makes me feel better about using them on my kids.

Overall, I would most likely keep a few of these patches on hand for the bug season. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with bug bites.

They actually work!!!

These patches were used by myself, my husband, and my 7 year old daughter. We live outside the city in an area highly populated with trees, and there are several ponds in my neighbourhood which all contribute to a high population of mosquitos and other bugs... So, these patches were a welcome option.
We used them in both light and heavy activity and were happy with not only the lack of bites, but also with how long they worked for. We were outside for hours and only used 1 patch each, which was enough.
They smell pleasant, and as a family with sensitive skin were were very happy with how gentle they were on the skin, even after being applied for hours.
They help to prevent as well as sooth the itch and irritation of a bite.
If you do get a bite and you put a patch on the bite it soothed the itch and heat, which was a great relief to my daughter.
A reliable product, and a welcome relief in these Canadian summers!

Good like after bite!

It's a good alternative to after bite! Works well! Highly recommend this product to campers and hikers! Must have in your arsenal at all times when you are out in the wild

Perfect for horsefly season

Recently went camping and the horseflies were awful. Sustained a few bites but the one on my neck was swollen and itchy. Applied this patch and the itch went away within a half hour, the swelling was gone overnight.

My only suggestion would be to make them slightly larger to cover bigger bites or areas. Overall, Sarna bug bite patches are a great addition to my summer first-aid kit!
