92% OF CHICKS DIG IT
So I have been using one version or the other of the Venus razor since they basically came out and have been happy with them so I did not bother to try any othe Schick razors. In any case, I was walking through Metrotown mall in Burnaby and this lady was handing out goodie bags and the Schick Quattro razor for women was in the bag. I promptly went home and tested it out and I love this product! I have been using this razor for about a month now and their claims of long lasting smoothness because of the dual aloe strips and the 4 blades are all true! I love how the Quattro's pivoting head fits the curves in your legs without causing any knicks along the way. I would highly recommend this product.
I've used most of the major razor brands on the market and Schick Quattro Women is the best in my opinion. The razor cuts close to the skin and I don't find myself having to shave as often. The blades are joined together with a small wire, which I think accounts for the closer shave. The handle is easy to hold and is made out of metal which makes it feel stronger. The small rubber grips around the blade never pull the skin and I've never had razor burn after using it. It's easy to quickly rinse under water and doesn't collect a lot of the shave cream around the head. Overall, amazing product and I'd highly recommend it!
This is my favourite razor by far. I have a couple of razors at any given time, and tend to buy refills for whatever is on sale when I go to the drug store haha. But, more often than not, I wait until the quattro blades are on sale, because I like them the best. I find it leaves my skin the smoothest, and I never get little cuts. The price is pretty standard compared to other razors (I think its about 22 bucks for the package of 8 refills). Also, I can't quite explain this part, but I find it to be more sturdy than my Venus razor (my second fave) .... I think its something about the way the blade handles when it moves against your skin ... the Venus pivots and the Quattro is stationary, which I like a lot better. I find it has more control. Overall, this is my favourite razor.
I've been using this razor for years now and it's the best razor on the market. The cost of the refills can be costly over time however it gets the job done. I get the closest shave. I tend to get irritated by some shaving lotions so I use a gentle soap and then lather to help with the shave.
i used this for the 1st time and i liked it, shaved very close without nicks and cuts and the shave lasted
I have tried many different womens shavers and this one is the keeper. No cuts, comfortable handle. Costly refills, but aren't they all? I think the cost of refills keep going up!
I love this razor, probably the best one I've ever used. It glides smoothly down my skin, leaving my skin nice and smooth afterwards. The blades also work amazing well; I only have to gently press against my skin when I shave which means I never cut myself anymore!!
As one of the reviewer mentioned, it does tend to trap little hairs under the blades and can be hard to remove. What I normally do is make a little pool of water in the tub (or sink), then tap the razor a few times and shake out the hair. It works pretty well! (A trick I learned from watching my hubby shave! Hahah...)
This razor is really simple to use. since it has 4 blades, shaving is quicker. I love the moisturizing strips on the razor too. The wire wrapped blades really prevent nicks, and in my case, prevented sharp, rough stubble (stubble grew back at a soft angle, not a blunt cut). I have not gotten a single cut or any razor burn, and I am terrible at shaving. The handle is nice and grippy but my favourite part is definitely the pivoting head and wire wrapped blades.
There is a downside though. Hairs do get trapped and some are hard to take out. Sometimes, if you have longer hair to shave, the wires on the blades make it take longer, and the hair gets caught on the wires, and gets tugged.
If you must shave...this is the only one to use for a disposable! No cuts, just a quick, close shave that leaves those legs (and whatever else) silky and smooth!
I discovered it when I got a free sample blade at the Gay Pride Parade - now it's the only kind of razor I'll use. I can use a blade for one month and it will still do a great job.
