Schmidt's Bergamot & Lime

I'd never tried a natural deodorant before as I usually use conventional antiperspirants. I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon but normally wouldn't spend that much on a product like this. The scent is really nice & long lasting & the packing is nice & simple. The product itself feels a little rough though & my underarms felt a little irritated after using it everyday straight after a while. Thank you for the opportunity to give this a try.

Smells really nice

I thought this smelled amazing great. You smell like a key lime pie. I thought it was hard to put on. It doesn’t glide very nicely. It also gave me a horrible rash

Smell good but too dry

The product smells very good but doesn't last very long I feel on the skin. It's really dry and you need to put a lot to have it last longer. I think it is a good product but need some improvements. I really liked the smell but unfortunately, because of the dryness I will not purchase it.

Wasn't for me.

I personally did not like this deodorant it felt like sand paper going on and didn't spread nicely at all. I tried holding it on my skin to warm it up and it did not help. The smell was okay but more overwhelming and reminded me of a cleaner. The quality wasn't what i was expecting, i felt like i needed to re-apply after only a couple of hours and it was very minimal activity.

Very limey and not my fave texture

I love trying new deodorants and always like to have a few different scents to wear depending on my mood. I only wear natural deodorants so I was super excited to get this #freeproduct to try out! I received the Bergamot + Lime deodorant to try. Upon opening it definitely has quite a strong scent. I like scented products but this one is actually a bit much for me personally, very limey for my liking. I read the back of the label and it said to hold it against your skin to warm the product before applying. This seemed a bit different, and once I felt the texture I could see why. It seems quick thick and grainy almost. It didn’t seem to apply very much even after warming, or it would leave little crumbs behind. I really wanted to like this product but I don’t think I would purchase this again. I’ll keep it as a back up in my desk in case I forget to apply deodorant in the morning!

Scratchy!!

First of all, I absolutely LOVE the smell of the deodorant. The reason I’m unsure I’d buy it is the formula. I didn’t initially read the instructions on the application, well, because it’s DEODORANT. And it ripped my armpits apart! OUCHIE! So after reading I seen that you are supposed to hold it to the skin for a moment to allow it to soften. Well you need to hold it longer than a moment and apply with the softest of pressure. I’ve never seen a deodorant like this! I’m certain the formula can be improved to be a smooth application.

Nice Smell

This smells nice but the texture feels like sand paper. Also doesn’t necesarily stops sweat, just makes it smell nicer.

Overpowering Smell

I was really looking forward to trying a Schmidt's Natural deodorant. Although at first I found the smell refreshing, it was ultimately too scented a product for me to where every day. I also found that it left marks on my darker shirts and definitely stung for a couple of days of use after I had removed my underarm hair. I think I need to stick to fragrance free for minimally scented products.

Pas un coup de coeur

J’ai reçu gratuitement ce produit pour le tester. Comme je suis fan des deos naturels, j’étais bien contente. Mes impressions: premièrement je trouve que l’odeur fait artificielle (fausse lime), mais elle est neutre, donc peut être utilisée par un homme ou femme. A l’application, le produit est sec et forme des résidus blancs sous les aisselles. Ensuite, au cours des heures qui suivent, on dirait que le produit favorise une humidité....

Malheureusement, ce n’est pas un coup de cœur pour moi 😕
