Schmidt's Charcoal + Magnesium Natural Deodorant

This product is awesome. The scents is fresh and it’s application, applies to my underarm very smoothly and is not sticky when temperatures become extreme. I would buy this product again!!

Burns and is super graining

This felt like rubbing a paste of baking soda and water/oil on your underarms. It did do its deodorizing job but the graininess led to a lot of irritation. My armpits BURN!

Subtle, lasting fragrance

I really enjoyed the fresh scent of the Schmidt's Charcoal + Magneseum Natural Deodorant.
It goes on clear, and does not leave residue on my dark coloured tops. The fragrance is light and fresh and lasted 24 hours. No reapplying necessary, as I felt protected the whole day after applying.

An effective odour neutralizer!

I prefer aluminum-free deodorants and really enjoyed using this Charcoal + Magnesium deodorant from Schmidt's! As with another Schmidt's deodorant I've used, this deodorant is hard to apply to my underarms by gliding it along my skin - even after I warmed it up against my skin. However, my last experience with a Schmidt's deodorant prepared me to try out this new variety.

I learned from prior experience that dabbing the product on to my underarms was more effective than gliding the deodorant onto my underarms. Gliding the deodorant on, for me, causes a gritty, friction kind of feel that probably would cause irritation overtime. This dabbing technique I did with my last Schmidt's deodorant was once again effective with this deodorant. This eliminates any white marks as I'm not heavily applying the product to my skin. A thin layer is all that's needed - no need to cake the product on. Odour protection is what this deodorant was designed for, so don't expect much wetness protection as you would expect with an antiperspirant. The scent has a hint of charcoal but in a pleasant way. The scent is on the cool, aquatic side. I love using this natural deodorant as it leaves me smelling fresh but sometimes a reapplication of the deodorant is needed. If I'm going to be in need of wetness protection I'd reach for an antiperspirant instead. The ingredients list does not include things like parabens or artifical fragrance. The ingredients list includes magnesium, charcoal powder, jojoba oil, and shea butter. Overall, I think these Schmidt's deodorants are good quality and they're now a product I use very regularly. The rough texture of the product makes me give it 4 stars instead of 5.

Not for me

I was excited to try Schmidt’s Natural deodorant for free thanks to Chick advisor and #trySchmidtsNatural, as it’s the first hemp seed oil natural deodorant I’ve seen. Unfortunately, after trying to the Charcoal + Magnesium scent for a few days, I would have to say this isn’t the deodorant for me. I found this scent more masculine than feminine and fragrance was very strong. As well, I found that the texture was sticky, gritty and felt like sandpaper when applying. It did also leave residue on my clothes.

Good Natural Deodorant

This is a great natural deodorant for men! The smell is great and does a good job at keeping your underarms fresh. However, it tends to crease in your underarms if you sweat. Other than that, this is a great natural deodorant that I would highly recommend giving a try

Light, refreshing, Unisex

This deodorant works well - I have a thyroid imbalance and my body odour changes - this really helped to keep all scents away

It is a light refreshing scent that would work well for anyone

No Aluminum yet it still works!

I applied for this deoderant for my bf but I use it myself! It smells really fresh and work pretty good. I don't often have BO but this does the trick for me, It's hard finding aluminum free deoderants in the store that actually smells good and works but I'm glad that i found out about this. I do prefer having clear deoderants though cause i feels like I'm putting a lighter gel on my body but that's just personal preference

Feel clean

What I love in this product is that it absorbs anything that could appear and I feel clean all day! Great deodorant with almost no fragrancy.

Schmidt’s charcoal and magnesium deodorant conquered the hardest task known to man; hiding the man stink! Thanks Schmidt’s! I will definitely purchase this again.
