Most effective natural deodorant

I have tried many natural deoderant's on the hunt for the perfect one and Schmidt's has come out on top for me. I have previously tried their sensitive skin formula and enjoyed it but found the texture a bit chunky. This one hit the nail on the head texture wise and managed to keep me smelling fresh even after spin class. I like that the scent isn't too overwhelming so it doesn't compete with your perfume. All in all I'll definitely be buying this again once I run out. I received this free as part of Chick Advisor's product review club.

A new different

This is my first time trying out a natural deodorant and to be honest, it's interesting to note that it does not seem any different than the artificial ones (which is a bonus point!) The only thing I would perhaps change is the strong sage scent associated with it. I got the lavendar/ sage scent and perhaps, the lavendar alone will be more to my liking. In terms of its efficacy, it does the job of keeping me feeling fresh however, I would have loved it more if its effects lasted longer. Overall, the packaging is cute and the price will definitely be a factor in whether I choose to buy this in the future.

OK deodorant

I like that it’s made with natural ingredients, but sadly, it was not a winner in my book. It left very tiny white specks on my (dark) clothes, and felt wet and sticky upon application (the feeling did slowly disappear as it dried, though). The scent is very strong and wafts around, clashes with my perfume and can be irritating to those sensitive to fragrance. It does a good job of deodorizing and the effect lasts, but I won’t be purchasing.

Smells amazing! Longlasting

I received a free sample to try and share my honest opinion.

I could smell the lavender and sage scent as soon as I opened up the box. It was very strong but I enjoyed the scent so I didn't find it overpowering. The packaging was very appealing to the eye and the explanation of the natural ingredients made me feel better about this product compared to others I have tried in the past.

I applied it in the morning and it lasted all day, even up against running after my three year old son. The texture of the product is slightly softer than I'm used to, but it went on fairly smoothly and didn't leave any residue.

Overall, I would purchase this in the future. I liked the scent and how long it lasted for me.

Very decent option for a natural deodorant

I was given this product to test for 2 weeks by ChickAdvisor.

First thing I noticed: the lavender-sage scent is extremely strong! Having said that I've noticed that it also faded within hours of application? This could be a disappointment or a positive depending on your sensitivity to odors; I was underwhelmed by how quickly the scent faded but on the other hand I also didn't seem to smell bad for the rest of the day! So i guess in that sense it does work decently as a deodorant.

As for the application it was a bit annoying having to wait for the bar to "warm up" against our skin otherwise it wouldn't apply smoothly and/or properly. It also leaves a bit of a film on my skin at the end of the day that's slightly hard to wash off.

Now having said all that, all in all I think it's a decent option if you're looking for a natural, safe deodorant.

Good Product

I received this product for review purposes from Chickadvisor. I have now been putting it on for the past week. This is my first time using a natural deodorant and I love it. It has definitely eliminated bad odour however the application is kind of hard - Chunks come off while applying and it is very easy to apply a lot of product. The scent is nice but a bit strong for my liking. Overall this deodorant made me feel clean and fresh all day long and I will definitely be purchasing natural deodorants from now on.

Smells great!

The lavender + sage deodorant works well. It carries a nice scent of lavender and a little goes a long way! The only complaint I have is that it leaves a white film underneath the armpit and is quite messy on your clothing.

New favorite

This deodorant quickly became my favorite. In addition to it being natural, I love how it smells and I feel like it really protects me against odors better than other brands. The texture may feel a little funny but it's not a deal breaker for me.

The schmidt's Lavender and Sage deodorant leaves a white film on your armpit because of its creamy consistency. I try to let it air out a bit first before wearing any dark clothing. The scent of the lavender smells really nice and light and keeps me smelling nice for the whole day.

I would purchase this natural deodorant again and would recommend this to anyone trying to find something more natural that contains no aluminum.

Not a fan!

I was super excited to try this product when I first heard about it because I have sensitivities to many other scented deodorants and figured a natural deodorant might be the root to go. Unfortunately, I cant get pass the smell of this product . I know it's natural but to me it just smells like pepper, I tried it for a few days but couldn't wear it anymore the scent was too overwhelming for me. I also found it didnt do a whole lot for me compared to most other deodorants I've used.
