Love the smell but...

I really like the lavender and sage scent of this product. It did not smell artificial but natural. The product itself feels rather grainy and a bit difficult to spread. I later found out that you should hold it to your skin and let it melt a bit before spreading it! I highly recommend doing that for a more effective result. Even though I did that, I still had some residue on my underarms... perhaps my skin was not warm enough to melt it. Nevertheless, I feel at ease using this product that is made from ingredients I can pronounce.

Effective but texture issues

I received the Lavender & Sage scent free for review purposes. The scent isn’t what I would choose as I’m not a big fan of lavender but once it was applied I wasn’t bothered by the scent. I found this product really effective I had no issue with odour any time I used it. After the initial scent of the product faded over time - maybe 2-3 hours the product still provided effective odour control. No stinky pits. Now for the downside, the texture. I found application to be less than ideal, press to hard and too much applies and it gets chunky. It seemed like the product was too soft, but it wasn’t in a warm place, and I let it warm up as recommended on the label. If too much applied I just rubbed it in with my hand and washed off the extra. I ended up dabbing the product on from the stick, but that made the container accumulate product. I personally wouldn’t buy it again due to my application issues but if the texture was firmer I would. If the softness doesn’t cause you problems I would absolutely recommend this.

Schmidt’s 100% naturel

Je suis très contente d’avoir tester le désodorisant schmidt’s 100% naturel! Je l’utilise à chaque matin et je n’est j’amais eu de problème d’odeur! Pour commencer la texture est lise et s’applique quand même bien elle ne glisse pas aussi bien que d’autre marque mes ce n’est pas un point négatif pour moi. Pour se qui est de la fragrance à la lavandre il faut absolument aimer l’odeur car elle sent assez fort je vous dirais ! Je suis très sensible au odeur mes cette odeur ne me donne pas mal à la tête et ne m’achale pas ! Je trouve que sa sent bon ! Parcontre quand je bouge ou fais de grand mouvement j’ai toute suite d’odeur de lavendre qui sent ! Je vous dirais que c’est bien mes là journée que je veut me mettre du parfum je ne pourrez pas appliquer de désodorisants car j’aurais trop peur que les odeurs se mélange et que je ne sente pas très bonne au final ahhaha le point le plus positif c’est les ingrédients naturel avec le quelle est fabriquer le désodorisant! Je vous recommande se produit si vous aimer l’odeur de lavendre ! J’ai reçu se produit #cadeau de la part de chickadvisor merci beaucoup

Finally, a healthy deodorant that works!

As a nursing mom, I struggled trying to find a non chemical deodorant that worked. After trying multiple different types and brands, I received the Schmidt's Lavender + Sage from ChickAdvisor. Their formula smells amazing and lasts all day. The texture seems slightly gritty compared to traditional brands, but once you warm it on your skin a bit and start wearing it every day, you don't seem to notice. I do hope that some time in the future is that they will be priced similarly to traditional deodorants as the price may be restrictive for some. But all in all, this is great healthy, green alternative!

Pretty effective deodorant

Thanks chick advisor for allowing me to try this product! The reason for my not liking it so much is only because I am not really liking the lavender scent- however it is a great deodorant! It goes on nicely and doesn’t feel sticky. Makes you smell fresh all day and long lasting

Really nice-smelling!

I love this deodorant. I had never heard of this brand before but I love natural deodorant so I had to try it. I like the smell a lot, but be warned that it's a pretty strong lavender smell. If this doesn't bother you (it didn't bother me), I absolutely recommend it. I found it worked better throughout the day than other ones I've tried, as in I didn't have to re-apply it again.

Worth a try for the money spent

I've only given it 4 stars though as the texture and ease of application isn't great but its performance is stratospheric. I'm pretty sweaty under there but this deodorant excels where others clearly fail. Yes, it is much more expensive than your average brand but if you can pick and choose then pick this product. Beautiful smell, absolutely no staleness and lasted two days when I was having a new bathroom fitted, for someone as sweaty as me that has never happened before!!

A great natural option, but wish there was no plastic casing

It can be hard to find the right natural deodorant; many of them I have found just don't work at all, or not well for me. I haven't recommended many in the past, and Schmidt's natural deodorant is joining the rank of recommended ones. Easy, non-flaky application and all day coverage, with some difficulties during a workout (then again, most deodorants have this issue). The smell is fantastic but does not overwhelm the senses (or one's deodorant). Easily washes off, as opposed to some of the oilier deodorants.

There is just one major problem: the plastic casing. For this reason, I'll be sticking to the natural deodorants that come in glass jars.

Nice natural option!

I tried Schmidt’s Lavender + Sage mineral enriched natural deodorant and really liked it.
This was my first time using a natural deodorant and didn’t really know what to expect. The packaging design is clean, sleek and feminine. Although I didn’t particularly like the scent, I was pleasantly surprised by the product.

Overall, I liked the deodorant and would happily try it again! It helps keep you dry and fresh and I love it doesn’t have any nasty chemicals.

The one thing I didn’t like is the texture when applying it, but think it would be something I could get used to.

I would be open to trying some of the other scents!

Works, but messy to use!

I like that it is a natural deodorant with lavender (which is a great deodourizer), but the process to putting it on is a little awkward and messy. I applied it like a normal deodorant, but it seems that it's not as solid so it melts super quick and a lot of the product got on my armpit, so I had to scrape the excess off and applied it to the other side using my hands...not attractive. It did work because I used it to go to the gym and there was no smell! For next time, I'll be sure to be more gentle when applying it so not too much will get onto my skin.
