Strong smell

I Got this Deodorant as a part of promotion from chickadvisor in exchange of my honest review so here I am ... Got this in flavor Lavender and sage.I was super excited to try this as I love to try new fragrances ..coming to opinion its been more than 2 weeks now that I am using this.Texture wise it feels a bit grainy at first but after rubbing it melts beautifully into the skin , only a little effort is required. It smells pretty stong and stayed same for good 6 to 7 hours. I tried it while cooking and shopping and it helped in keeping odors and sweat away which is a plus too.The only thing I dont like is smell...its so overpowering during day time and it smells same like my bathroom air freshener which is weird. Overall my experience with this is really good. I recommend it and like to buy this again but in different flavour.

Nice to be Natural

I have been attempting to switch many of my beauty and hygiene products over to natural ones. This was a great item to add to my morning routine. I used the Lavender and Sage deodorant. Right away I enjoyed the scent, it's not too strong, but strong enough to do the job! What I didn't expect was the texture, at first it feels a bit rough, there are small granular bits, that almost feel like an exfoliant. After a few days, I was used to it. The product melts away into the skin and feels nice. I'm aware of all the harmful ingredients in the other deodorants I used to use, so I'm feeling committed to this product. Overall I really enjoyed this product and will continue to use it.

Lavender Could Do Without the Sage

I tried my Schmidt's Lavender+Sage natural deodorant soon after receiving it, but I could tell upon opening the box that I wouldn't be using it too often. It had a pungent smell without even having to open the product itself; although, the packaging itself was great and had the sanitary cap that made me feel comfortable using it. Lavender is a strong enough, and pleasant, smell on its own, so I'm not sure why they thought they needed to add the Sage to it, but I think that was a major faux-pas. I will continue to use the product, but don't see myself buying it in the future. It's great for those high-stress days or when you know you'll be particularly sweaty to mask any odours, but otherwise, I don't think I need something that strong. Nonetheless, I didn't get any irritation from using the product, which is always great as my skin can be a bit sensitive with new products from time to time. I was really rooting for this deodorant, but I think they were trying too hard to be different. With the right scent combinations, I think they'll do well and may crush the competition one of these days. For now, would I recommend it? Yes and no. Yes, because maybe this is the ideal product for someone who is worried about covering up their body odour but doesn't want to use conventional antiperspirants. No, because I think they could do better on the scent combinations. #gotitfree

Amazing deodorant with relaxing scent

I was very surprised to receive this product for free to try it out. Going thru the list of ingredients, it does not contain any synthetic chemicals and it’s aluminum free. I really like how it smells. It gives a sense of relaxation that helps to reduce any tension during a day.
I will be recommending this natural deodorant to my friends and family members.
When it comes to a texture, it does not apply as expected. This is the only thing I do not like. However, it works throughout the day and keep any odor away. It is effective!

Love the smell!

This is a great smelling deodorant that works very well. I have tried many natural deodorants and this one has definitely been one of the best!

Smells so Natural and Fresh

Fortunately for me I had the opportunity to try this product. I was immediately enamoured by the scent when I opened it. The lavendar sage smells so natural and fresh, like I am actually smelling the real thing in a garden. Not like other deodorants that smell nice but synthetically so. I wore it everyday for two weeks and am happy to report that it got the job done effectively with no "breakthrough" odours. I would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a more natural option for deodorants.

Schmidt's lavender and sage deodorant

I received Schmidt's Lavender and Sage natural deodorant for free as part of the product review club. I was excited to try the product out as I have started to use aluminum free deodorants recently. I found that the scent was a bit strong which I don't mind but it seemed like the sage smell was overpowering and I don't know what better way to describe it than i smelled like my grandmother. In terms of the texture or application it seemed to go on a bit grainy, as I'm not familiar with natural deodorants I didn't know if this was normal but it was just different than a regular deodorant bar. I work out quite a bit and used this bar before working out and i found it worked quite well in terms of masking/reducing any smell from sweating. In terms of value I saw that the price range could be anywhere from approximately $10-$15 which is a but more than i usually pay for deodorant but seems around the price range that natural deodorants go for.

Good product

I got the Schmidt’s lavender and sage Natural Deodorant for free to try. It smells wonderful and lasts a long time. I love that it has natural ingredients. The only thing I would change is the fact that it's very creamy when you apply it, due to natural body heat. The product smears all over the plastic opening. Other than that, amazing product.

A breath of fresh air

After trying it for a few weeks i have absolutely fallen in love with this deodorant I love the smell
...very unique and lavender and sage is such a beautiful combo....it’s so soft and wonderful and nothing harsh about it

Lovely fragrance, gritty texture

I received this product in exchange for an honest review and have been using it exclusively for the past week.
Pros:
- Vegan and cruelty-free
- Free from harmful ingredients such as parabens
- Lovely lavender scent
- Effective in terms of minimizing body odor
Cons:
- Gritty texture
- Takes a long time to dry
Considering these factors and the price relative to other natural deodorants, I would only repurchase if I were to find Schmidt's on sale or if the texture were improved.
