Exotic scent

This deodorant works great all day long! Better than any natural deodorant out there. It's quite peppery but if you don't mind that, it works great!

I love this natural Canadian brand of deodorants.

The first time I used Schmidts deodorant, I was in love. This rose scented with black pepper one is formulated for sensitive skin with hemp seed oil which is great for skin.

Great scent !!!

I really like the scent this deodorant has. It's light, but you can definitely smell the rose aroma. I really dislike products with a heavy perfume scent, so I enjoyed this aspect of the product a lot! Also, it works well for people like me that don't sweat and/or smell a lot, but I'm not sure I would recommend it to people that tend to sweat a lot...

Unique Smell

The smell is unique with the combination of rose and black pepper. The pepper smell is lighter but still noticeable. This deodorant has a nice texture that applies smoothly. I have tried other deodorant's from Schmidt that have more of a grainy texture which I did not like. This formula does not have that texture.

Would possibly purchase in the future

The natural deodorant is my go to and this scent is like nothing I’ve ever smelled. It has a beautiful floral scent with a hint of pepper which is like nothing I’ve ever used before.

Not the most pleasant thing once you actually start sweating

I was so excited to try my very first natural deodorant from Schmidt's (especially since I've heard many great things about the brand) thanks to Chickadvisor. I personally really like the smell of the rose + black pepper by itself however once I started sweating, the appeal immediately went away for me. I think the black pepper was what did it for me - the combination of my sweat/BO and the black pepper did not make for a lovely smell (my boyfriend doesn't seem to mind it but I did) and at that point, I much rather just plain rose for the scent. This is again my personal opionion and you may have a different experience with it depending on the scents you enjoy however this wasn't for me.

Good product

The deodorant is effective but the smell of it I didn’it like it that much but it doesn’t stink it stills smell good. If I had the choice I would have chosen another scent because the product is good but the smell...

I was pleasantly surprised & will keep using it!

I had the opportunity to try SCHMIDT'S ROSE + BLACK PEPPER NATURAL DEODORANT. I've used natural deodorants which I wasn't thrilled about in the past as I am keen on switching permanently to a natural one. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! The scent, although very strong is so pleasant, even my husband liked it. I felt protected throughout the day and would definitely recommend this deodorant if you want to make the switch to a natural one. The only thing to consider is if you wear a lot of black, which I don't, then be careful as this deodorant is very white and may leave marks on black clothing if you are not careful.

Interesting scent!

The jar format of Schmidt's deodorant has been a favourite of mine for the past couple of years; it was the first natural deodorant to actually work and not cause any irritation on my sensitive underarm skin - and I tried a fair few!

Back then, I was told the stick format wasn't as good as formula in the jar, but so far it's been working very well for me. The only issue I have is that the product is quite soft, and when I use it, it smears all over the outside of the packaging and ends up getting on my hands and wherever I set my deodorant down. Even though I save some time using this deodorant in stick format versus scooping it out of a jar and using my fingers, I still find that I have to wash my hands and wipe the outside of the product packaging every now and then.

Other than that, I really love this product and I'm happy to see more stores carrying it as a natural option. I would definitely recommend it to others!

It works!

I’ve been using natural deodorants for a while and so far this is my favourite in terms of effectiveness. Within seconds of contact on the skin the product softens and easily spreadable. The scent however is quite overpowering. I enjoyed the scent but would prefer if it was not so strong.
