Great smelling product but...
Great smelling product but I am always weary about natural deodorants. This one works well except it leaves a very chalky and grainy finish upon application. The smell is great, and it does mask the sweat or b.o. smells. The only issue I had with it was I applied it prior to working out (cardio and weight lifting) and I do sweat a fair bit, I had white sweat streaks running down my arms. It was like chalk lines. I think this deodorant is something I can wear on a day to day if it’s not extremely hot or I am not planning on sweating a lot.
Trying Schmidt's deodorant
I recently recieved Schmidt's Rose + Vanilla deodorant (as well as Sage + Vetiver) for free to try out. This deodorant goes on smoothly. The smell is subtle, which is important to me as strong smells give me headaches. I do not love the smell though, it's a bit too flowery for me. I prefer the smell of the Sage+Vetiver, so in the future I would purchase it instead.
Not a smooth consistency
I want to love this product but the colour and consistency is strange. It’s dark, and thick, and not easily spreadable. It’s also not a sensitive skin product, something to consider if you have skin issues
Smells lovely!
While I’m totally in love with the scent (it’s the prettiest, most delicate rose fragrance!), I’m not a fan of the texture at all. It’s grainy and sticky upon application and dries down to a powder that rubs off on clothes and leaves white marks. I love the fact that it’s made with natural ingredients and the scent is goergous and lasting, but I just can’t get past the texture issues!
*I received this product for free from Chickadvisor in exchange for an honest review.
Smells good, works fine
It smells good and does a decent job of removing odor, however it has a rough and gritty texture which I did not like. I noticed some people have gotten rashes and luckily I haven't had any problems with that but i've only used it for a few days so far.
Schmidt's Rose + Vanilla Natural Deodorant
I was excited to try this deodorant from ChickAdvisor for my honest review. Although it has natural ingredients which I am always on the look for, the product itself doesn't work as advertised. It smells great, but the formula clumps up, stains clothing white, and doesn't really stop sweating. I just didn't find it effective for me.
Mixed reviews with this product
I would buy this or the charcoal one ( same brand) for about 6 months I had nooo issues and loved this product. All of a sudden I broke out it a rash so I stopped using the rose one and switched back to the charcoal but the same thing happened. It was like a chemical burn which is weird because it’s all natural. I don’t know if I was gained an allergy to something in the product or if they changed the formula. Either way I will not buy again.
Broke out in a painful rash
I’ve been looking for a natural deodorant for a while now. My fiancé uses this brand with no issues, so I figured I’d try it out - since he really likes his! I started using this, and noticed it was really grainy compared to his, almost like it wasn’t mixed well enough. And then after about a week I got a horrible, red, painful rash in both of my armpits. I kept using it for a few weeks hoping it was just my body adjusting to a new product - I know my fiancé got a rash when he first started using it but it only lasted a few days. Anyway, mine didn’t clear up so I stopped using the product. I really wanted to like this, but it just didn’t work for me.
Expensive, works, but at a price other than price
The scent is actually good. I works very well at keeping odor and wetness away but the worst park of this is that the baking soda in it isn't 100% solid and will pill and get all over your armpit and on the applicator as well.
