this was always the bacon to buy...the last few packages have been very disappointing.....very thin fatty bacon:( do not like that you get less then a pound in a package for the price you pay....always watching for it to go on sale...

too bad the quality has gone down so much - packages now contains wads of carefully hidden fat. Not at all what Schneiders used to stand for

This bacon is amazing. Does not shrink too much as I cooked it in the oven. Also I found it did not have a lot of fat on it. .

I love the taste of bacon, but I hate that it is always so expensive. It doesn't go on sale very often either.

I always buy it when it goes on sale at my local supermarket. When the Schneider's bacon is cooked, its texture is crispy and streaky. I like the smoky flavour it has, although i always feel guilty after devouring in bacon, because it has a lot of calories. Very easy to cook and with eggs it makes an excellent breakfast dish!
