If you're trying to lighten you hair, please DO NOT make the mistake I did. Go to a salon & get it done professionally! Do not believe the color chart on the box! I went from a cinnamon brown to start, to orange tri-color, than after a second dye it was yellow!! Big waste of money, you WILL be disappointed, dont do what I did!! This looks horrible. I do not recommend at home lightening. After the first dye it did not change all my hair, i had a big patch of brown on the back of my head. After the second dye my hair is now fried & yellow!! YELLOW! 👎👎👎👎👎

I'm very impressed with this lightener! I'm no stranger to at home lightening kits and this is by far the best one I've ever used. I have medium brown hair that pulls red and whenever I've tried to bleach my hair at home it's been a disaster. I usually end up with orange, yellow and white hair that is patchy and hard to correct. I bought this on a whim after deciding I need ombre hair. My hair has some old permanent and semi-permanent dye in it so I was expecting uneven results. I was wrong!

After leaving this on the ends of my hair for 45 minutes I rinsed and conditioned it. To my surprise, it lifted my colour evenly. Is it brassy? Yes it is, but it's an easy fix with toner.

My results were far better than I expected. If my hair was virgin hair I probably wouldn't have gotten brassy, just yellow. The best part is that my hair feels great and isn't damaged at all.

If you have dark hair and want to lighten it, I suggest giving this lightener a try!
