It Gets The Job Done

The product works, although it took a while to get enough on and blend it in. I tried it in black and found it was not dark enough to be a proper match for the rest of my hair. It does not fully dry, so it will transfer off. It is good if you have to be somewhere and need a quick touch up, but I would not use this on a regular basis. #TRYHAIRMASCARA #Freeproduct

Good for "Just for Fun" party

I got this Schwarzkopf Hair Mascara as a sample, it looks like typical mascara but instead of eyelash, you apply on your hair. There's some little black spots when i applied and it will smoothen out after a few applications. Overall, it will be a fun tool for girl party night out. Retail at $15.99, this is not to be replace or use as hair dye, more as a fun add on colour.

Only worth it if you are in a pinch for time

I received the Schwarzkopf Hair Mascara for free to try in the colour black. I have a few grey hairs that I had tried using it on and I was surprised that it does cover up those strands well. My hair is on the darkest side of brown, almost black, and it blends in very nicely without looking obvious. However, the process of using the wand itself was annoying and underwhelming.
A lot of hair strands that I didn't need to cover kept on getting caught in the brush as I tried to cover the few grey ones near it. It was also annoying that the colour came off on my hands and fingers everytime I touch or try to fix my hair during the day out. For the retail price of $15.99, I don't think it's worth the value since the bottle is very tiny for that price. Even if it goes on sale, I don't think it's worth it.
The only reason I can see the hair mascara being useful is if you are in a pinch for time and you haven't had the chance to colour your hair before an event or meeting up with someone who you don't want to see your greys. Other than that, I don't think I'd buy this product because of the low value and underwhelming effectiveness.

Works for a few grey hairs....

This product is kind of gimmicky in my opinion. While it worked to cover the few grey hairs I have, I cannot imagine using this to cover an entire head of grey roots. The formula is kind of heavy and sticky and once it's applied, you need to be very certain you won't be touching your hair and risk getting black "mascara" all over your hands.

covers Roots but horrible at applying

I was excited to try this product. when it arrived I already had roots that needed attention so it was a great time to try this out. First it was pretty much mascara, so I wasn't sure how my thick curly hair would take this but I tried it anyways. Horrible time applying it to my roots as it has the same consistency as Mascara so it's quite thick. as you can tell from the photos it did cover the roots but it took a long time and some choice words to get it to cover what needed covered. I let it dry (or so I thought) and I ran my hand over my head and to my surprise, my hand was covered in mascara like texture, I would not buy this or recommend it as it took too long to apply and you would have to wash your hair every time you use this before bed.

Mediocre

This was okay. The product was great at targeting any areas that I wanted to touch up but the product did not contain much hair mascara. Be careful with touching your hair after applying it as it can rub. Let it dry first. I personally prefer sprays to this as this required me to do multiple sweeps. Overall it was ok.

I would never purchase this product

The wand is a little wonky to use and you have to get right in there to even get the mascara to really cover the roots. I followed the directions and let it dry, then combed it thinking its "set". Nope, comes off and onto your fingers if you touch it. I play with my hair throughout the day so that doesn't work. I would prefer to colour my hair every few weeks.

Pour un camouflage temporaire

Il suffit d'en appliquer sur les cheveux propres et secs entre les colorations chez le coiffeur. Sa petite brosse permet de cibler les mèches (ou quelques cheveux dans mon cas) que l'on souhaite recouvrir. De plus, la coloration est totalement lavable!
Pour ma part, je n'ai vraiment pas beaucoup de cheveux blancs alors ils ont été bien camouflés. Est-ce que j'utiliserais le mascara de manière quotidienne? Pour me dépanner seulement!

Good Product but not Practical

I received this product from Schwarzkopf and Chick Advisor for free for my honest review. I thought the product was a neat idea. It's easy to use and quickly hides grey hair. It also matched my hair colour perfectly. This product is a reasonable price too. I have one major issue with this product though. What do you do if it rains? Since this product can be easily washed off, the rain will make it bleed. It will come off and possible go on your clothes or on your skin. It's great on a dry weather day or if used inside but it just isn't very practical for everyday use. I would save your 16 dollars and purchase hair dye instead. I'm glad I got to try this out but I wont be purchasing it in the future.

I got this free! Thanks for that opportunity chickadvisor. I liked this product it worked well with my hair type. I did like how it glided on nicely for me. I did need to run the brush through abit just to neatly apply it. I'd recommend for anyone who is worried about greys or even hair colour coming out from your roots.
