Perfect!

This product is value for money! I just need a bit to cover my grey roots, a little goes a long way.
The mascara wand made it very easy to apply coverage, and I love the formula as well, it is not clumpy, spradable and long lasting. The color stays there until I wash my hair, it does transfer tho, so I always wash my hair at the end of the day or before bed. Recommended!

Effective on grays. Works well as a scalp cover.

Firstly, thanks to chickadvisor for providing an opportunity to try this product for free to review.
The packaging is literally the size of regular mascara bottle along with your typical mascara brush . The plus is the product is also small enough to throw in to your makeup bag. There is a slight odour but not offensive so now worries without competing with hair products scents. The brush has tiny bristles which make it very easy to catch hairs. Application is a little tricky as the instructions indicate to tightly pull a section of hat and use short strokes to cover the hair strand. However, once the brush catches the hair it’s hard to continue with short brush strokes and the tendency is to pull the brush through the entire strand as you pull away. This resulted in somewhat a messy application as it gets all over your fingers. That being said, I would recommend this product for a small amount of shorter gray hairs which can easily be covered with short strokes. I have those shorter gray hairs that Stick straight out as if to say, “hey look at me ?!” Colour match is good, ( I was given black) not surprising since my hair is black. I like that it does not dry matte on the hair and still leaves my natural sheen. I did use this product on my scalp and found it quite effective. I like wearing my hair up in a. Ponytail or messy bun but don’t love the scalp showing on the sides I used this product on those small areas to achieve a fuller stream lined look for my up style. Hmmm. Wonder how this would work on the eyebrows?!
At a price of $15.99 I think this is a product of good value that won’t break the bank and a quick fix for those who don’t need to dye a full head of gray hair and have strands that can be easily be targeted.

Quick grey cover up in a jippy!!

When I first got this product I thought the packaging and product looked just like mascara for your eyes. Although it says hair mascara, it clearly states a warning to not use on eyelashes and eyebrows. I got the black temporary grey cover up. I stroked some on the grey areas of my hair. It instantly covered up my grey hair. You do have to wait a few minutes for it to dry or else it smudges all over your hands. When it dried I ran my hand through my hair and a bit of the mascara rubbed off on my hands. It does a great job of covering the greys and it is not noticeable at all. When washing the product off it came right off with shampoo. No lingering product left behind. The price is $15.99, which I think is a little more than I would pay for the product. I would however pay $12.99 for this product. I would recommend this product as a quick fix to grey hairs, as it makes it easy during those times you can't get a chance to colour your hair.

Schwarzkopf® Hair Mascara a must try

I received this product for free to try about 1 week ago in the color black. The packaging came in handy bc I had to go on a business trip, it was easy to pack with my makeup. I love the fact that it looks like a mascara. Not messy and easy to apply. I haven't tried it for long so I'm not too sure if the color will not wash away once I wash my hair. I do notice it covered my grey hairs at my roots and I can just touch up and go. Matches my current hair color. The price point is affordable and I will buy it in the future. Mascara pour cheveux schwarzkopf

J'ai bien aimé faire l'essai du mascara pour cheveux Schwarzkopf qui m'a été offert gratuitement, merci beaucoup. Le mascara couvre bien les racines, mais pour une personne ayant beaucoup de cheveux blancs comme moi, c'est vraiment juste dépanneur pour une fois ou deux avant de refaire la retouche des racines. Je sais maintenant que si je suis mal pris avant de retourner chez ma coiffeuse, je peux me sauver la vie avec ce superbe produit!

Maybe I'm just clumsy.

The small wand kept getting stuck in my hair. I had to go over each strand several times to cover the gray, that's probably why it's taking so long to dry. The only plus I can think of is that it's way more precise than a spray.

Works for a few grey hairs....

This product is kind of gimmicky in my opinion. While it worked to cover the few grey hairs I have, I cannot imagine using this to cover an entire head of grey roots. The formula is kind of heavy and sticky and once it's applied, you need to be very certain you won't be touching your hair and risk getting black "mascara" all over your hands.

covers Roots but horrible at applying

I was excited to try this product. when it arrived I already had roots that needed attention so it was a great time to try this out. First it was pretty much mascara, so I wasn't sure how my thick curly hair would take this but I tried it anyways. Horrible time applying it to my roots as it has the same consistency as Mascara so it's quite thick. as you can tell from the photos it did cover the roots but it took a long time and some choice words to get it to cover what needed covered. I let it dry (or so I thought) and I ran my hand over my head and to my surprise, my hand was covered in mascara like texture, I would not buy this or recommend it as it took too long to apply and you would have to wash your hair every time you use this before bed.

Mediocre

This was okay. The product was great at targeting any areas that I wanted to touch up but the product did not contain much hair mascara. Be careful with touching your hair after applying it as it can rub. Let it dry first. I personally prefer sprays to this as this required me to do multiple sweeps. Overall it was ok.

The best root cover!

I got it free to try. #gotitfree. I tried few other root cover products but this is hands down the best. Easy to use, great to cover my gray hair between visits to the hair stylist. There is subtle smell to it. My hair even on the day after look good. I don't need to reapply it again. It didn't color my scalp like other products. I definitely will buy it again!
