Super bon camoufler
J’aime vraiment le produit très efficace entre deux teintures. L’effet est très subtile et très facile à appliquer cheveu par cheveu à l’aide de l’applicateur. #Gotitfreechickadvisor thx
Hit or miss
I think the packaging is really nice and the wand is really nice. I think the product itself is okay but it didnt work too well for me. The application wasn't applying on my hair evenly and maybe it was just because i have a lot of hair. I feel like this would work better if you have thinner hair than mine.
Covers Those Nasty Greys
I have grey hair mostly around my ears, bangs and few in the middle of my head.
It's always a pain to dye your hair constantly, this hair mascara is perfect for those in betweens. I love that their are no fumes, and it's not a spray.
I received this product free for testing purposes in black from Chickadvisor.
Its easy to use. It covers the greys nicely. You may have to use a few applications depending on how many you have. It dries fairly quick and matches my hair color perfectly.
Washes out easily, the next day it was still in my hair and I hardly had add more.
If I touch that area I notice I will have some black on my fingertips, it would be nice to maybe see this hair mascara in waterproof in the future.
The brush is thin bristles to grab all those hairs.
I would recommend this, I like it alot better than spray touch ups.
I would never purchase this product
The wand is a little wonky to use and you have to get right in there to even get the mascara to really cover the roots. I followed the directions and let it dry, then combed it thinking its "set". Nope, comes off and onto your fingers if you touch it. I play with my hair throughout the day so that doesn't work. I would prefer to colour my hair every few weeks.
Great temporary coverage
I am in my 30's with moderate greys in my jet black hair. I don't like highlighting my hair (thinning hair) and was getting really tired of having to dye my hair every couple of months or so. When my greys start to show again, it's SO ugly because I have very black hair, and this Schwarzkopf hair mascara saved my life! Compared to one root coverage application I tried (using brush and powder-ish texture), this one is much better and easier. It goes on my hair well and stays pretty well. I sometimes forget that I have it and it will get on my hands if I touch it or have to be careful not to get it wet, but overall it definitely beats having to use hair dye again and take up few hours. I will continue to use this product!
Easy to use. I love it.
It's very easy to apply and won't damage your hair. No smells. It's just for the lazy woman who instantly want to have a dark hair like me. Quickly cover my gray hair before I go out. Highly recommend
I received this for trying from Chick Advisor. Thanks! Chick Advisor.
Hair mascara that does temporarily cover your greys!
I was lucky to try the Schwarzkopf Hair Mascara in black as part of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. It was my first time using a hair mascara that temporarily covered my grey hairs so I wasn't sure what to expect. The applicator was easy to hold and easy to apply the black color over my grey hairs. With a few brushes, the coverage was good.
However after using the product, I do prefer a product that would more permanently address my grey hairs (such as hair dye) and won't wash out. Maybe it is because I like the convenience of doing it one time, rather than apply the hair mascara on a more regular basis. I would recommend this product only to friends and family that would like a temporary solution for their grey hair.
I don’t get the concept
I was given the opportunity to try this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I get very grey at the temples and am always excited to try new dyes and hair coloring products. I honestly don’t get the concept of a hair mascara. Before I continue, let me say that this might be of some help to top of the head roots where it might not be as messy. For my temples and face frame, this was very messy. It clearly showed that I’ve applied something to the strands. You can also see in my photo some mascara residue on my skin. I had totally forgot I had applied this, and ran my fingers through my hair, what a mess! My hand was all black. I just thank God I was home and not in public haha! $16 for this product is such a waste in my opinion. If you do like the mascara touch-up on your roots, you might as well just use an old tube for eyes laying around-just saying. I also wanted to add that when you pull the wand out of the tube, it seems that there is barely any product on the brush. It took several pumps and applications to the hair to see any significant difference. Sorry, but it’s a big NO from me. I’d rather just get a box of dye for $4.99 on sale and dye my roots and be mess-free. #freeproduct
