Oily roots

Although I have been dying my hair since I was about 14, I had never used a root touch-up product between dyes; I have always had reservations about these hair mascaras, worrying that they would impart an undesirable texture to my hair, either causing it to clump/mattify or making the roots appear oily (I already struggle with roots that become oily just one day after washing, but ends that become too dry with daily washing). While this product did not result in any clumping and was actually very easy to apply, it did make my hair appear greasy.
In terms of effectiveness, however, it definitely did the job of covering up my roots between dyes.
I would recommend this product for someone who wants to extend their time between dyes but does not have the same issue as I do surrounding roots prone to oiliness.

J'ai reçu gratuitement le produit pour le tester.
J'ai trouvé que le mascara pour les cheveux était facile à appliquer, il tient bien jusqu'au prochain lavage et couvre les quelques cheveux gris que j'ai.

Je me colore les cheveux tous les 2 mois environ, pour couvrir les cheveux gris notamment. Je n'en ai pas beaucoup cependant et ne pense pas racheter le mascara pour les cheveux. Je trouve le produit dispendieux surtout par rapport à la quantité et ne le trouve pas spécialement utile pour moi qui me colore les cheveux.

Peut être que les personnes qui ne souhaitent pas encore se colorer les cheveux et qui ont quelques mèches grises aimeront ce produit et le trouveront utile.

Very wet and a little goopy

I received the hair mascara free to test from Chickadvisor. The colour matched pretty well which surprised me. I found the formula to be very wet and goopy feeling when applied around my forehead. It did look like I had applied something on my hair which bothered me. There was no scent which was nice. I probably won’t use this again though as I wasn’t able to find any indication that this wasn’t vegan or tested on animals.

I always have 3-4 grey hair that seem to come out out of nowhere! Sometimes, I don't feel like going through all the process of coloration for a few hairs. I found Schwarzkopf's new product amazing! It's small (so you can keep it in your purse), it's exactly like a mascara and works REALLY well! It's not greasy and doesn't smell. It covers up all my little grey hairs whenever I need to! Totally recommend.

neat for a change

Mascara for your hair?! Of course, why not! I had the opportunity to #tryhairmascara by SchwarzkopfCa courtesy of Chickadvisor product review club. I was given chocolate brown, the colour closest to my natural brunette hair colour. I applied it on strands and roots. It applies easily, and disguised my greys. There are tiny pointed plastic bristles on the wand, and it goes on like mascara. As tempting as it may be, the warnings on the tube and the leaflet say it's not to be used on eyelashes or eyebrows. ;-)
My hairs did get wound up/caught in the wand. When I styled my hair, which involves touching it, it did stain my fingers. Not sure how long it had to dry. It didn't rain while I tested this, so not sure if it would run if you're caught in a downpour. $16 is rather high for a root touch up product, although this 16 ml tube would last a while. It's neat for a change, & if you're into experimenting and trying something different.

Wonderful coverage !

I really enjoyed trying out my sample of Schwarzkopf hair mascara. It was even easier to use than I thought it would be. The coverage was great and the little wand made application so simple. The hair mascara completely blended with my hair colour. I'm not sure I would pay $15.99 for a temporary hair colour though. It would be nice to keep one on hand for emergency touch ups, however, and you don't need much to cover well.

schwarzkopf-hair-mascara awesome product!!

It comes in a package about the size of a very large mascara bottle. The wand has lots of bristles and makes application easy, with color going on roots or strands once or twice. the color was dark brown, which is darker then my roots but actually looked natural and one can put streaks in to change up one's look just for a day!! It washes out after one shampoo. I would recommend this product

Even without grays it awesome!

I was curious how this would work as I don't really have Grays but weak hair thats lost some color. Over the past week it's gave me a confidence boast! It made my roots look darker and not so brittle. This is great for any age not just covering grays . Very surprised !

Une solution simple pour cacher le gris!

J'ai 27 ans, mais depuis l'âge de 7 ans, j'ai toujours eu une mèche blanche-grise dans le toupet. Selon la façon dont je fait mes cheveux, celle-ci parait davantage, surtout lorsque je fais une couette. Le mascara pour cheveux Schwarzkopf est une option merveilleuse, rapide et très efficace pour camouffler les mèches blanches-grises en deux temps trois mouvements!

Personnellement je crois que la couleur du produit ''brun chocolat'' était un peu trop foncée pour ma teinte de cheveux, mais je vais assurément faire l'achat de la teinte blond foncé! En attendant, mon amie qui a les cheveux un peu plus foncé que moi l'a essayé et elle l'a adoré!

Aussi le produit est facile à laver et ne tâche pas les mains non plus, c'est vraiment idéal et simple à utiliser. Je le recommande à tous, peut importe votre âge!

Hmmm...

I received this product free as a part of Chick Advisor's campaign with SCHWARZKOPF. Unfortunately, this product is not for me. It turned my hair greasy and if I use less, I have to layer it a lot. It does dry fairly quickly and matches the hair colour really well. It washes out fairly easily as well, but just not for thick hair.
