Masquerade Mascara

I received the Schwarzkopf hair mascara as a promotion to try. The only thing that I knew about this product before I received it that it was like mascara. However, I did not realize it would be so tiny and actually smaller than my eyelash mascara bottle. I felt that the handle was too small to handle and created a challenge for me. I believe it would be hard for someone with large hands or unsteady hands to use.
The actual brush part was ok, as I had a mediocre area to cover. If I were to have more area to cover I feel it would be more time consuming and frustrating.
I found the liquid part of this product to not apply as smoothly as a hair product. It was clumpy and did not apply easily for me in a few brushes.
So I guess the best parts of this product were that the colour of the product was accurate to match my hair and it did not have a terrible smell - which is a bonus!
I did not overly enjoy this product but may try it again if the product were to improve.

Just not for me

I received the lightest shade available of Schwarzkopf hair mascara. I found that there is not enough options in colour as this was just not a match for my hair. Went on slightly clumpy and did nothing for my style. This is not a product that I would use of recommend. Also I do not think that the price makes this item a good value.

Did not like texture it created

I did not like this product, did not like the texture it created in my hair. Left it feeling greasy and stiff. Have liked other products from this brand in the past, so would be willing to try others, but will not purchase this one.

Just a cover up

I was.not that impressed with this product. It did cover my roots and Grey's but it took alot of it and it seemed to goop up quite quickly. I Would use it in an absolute bind but not regularly

I wanted to like it

I received this product for free in order to review it for ChickAdvisor. I received the dark blonde shade, but it was too dark, and it was so ashy it looked like I put mud or clay in my hair. I thought the mascara wand was a good idea at first, but it was tricky to use, took a long time, and got tangled in my hair.
The best use I found for it, actually, was on my eyebrows. If you use a *very* light hand and brush your brows backwards to coat the hairs, and then brush them the right way to smooth them out, it really fills in your brows nicely.

I would not purchase this product

I received this product free From ChickAdvisor Product review club, I was excited to receive it but when I tried it on my hair I found it to be thick and chunky, it did not glide evenly through my hair. I found the colour to be very disappointing, I was expecting a more easy to apply product.

Touch it up

#GotItFree Schwarzkopf Hair mascara's packaging is easy to read and easy to open for a rheumatoid arthritis sufferer. The applicator brush works well to apply. The product itself is thick and not messy. As for effectiveness, it covers the grey but not as good a match for blonde as it can be. The product washes out in time. It is a little overpriced. Overall i was not impressed with this product due to the effectiveness, price and not environmentally friendly.I would not recommend this product to a friend or family member. I appreciate this opportunity to try before i buy. Thank you and God bless

Not for me

I received SCHWARZKOPF HAIR MASCARA free to try. I have medium blonde hair with light blonde highlights and was hoping to try to add some blonder notes throughout. It was a perfect match to my darker sections so it wasn't really useful to me. As a blonde I don't have any grey hair; I will likely go ashy. I found the wand to be too small to spread the product and it felt dry and crusty where it had been applied. This product may be great for someone with darker hair but it was a fail for this blondie.

Je ne recommande pas ce produit

Suite à la réception de ce produit, j'étais très emballée de l'essayer. J'ai été toutefois très déçue. Au niveau du match de couleur, ce n'est vraiment pas top. Au niveau de l'application, ce n'est pas facile. Dans mon cas, c'est au niveau de la racine que l'application s'est testée, sur ma repousse de cheveux gris. J'ai les cheveux très épais et longs. L'application avec l'embout de type mascara n'est vraiment pas optimal. Les cheveux prennent dans la petites brosses et on doit ''se battre'' avec tous ça afin de pouvoir procéder à l'application du produit. Je n'ai vraiment pas aimé mon expérience. Je ne paierais certainement pas 15$ pour ce produit et je ne le recommanderai à personne de mon entourage....

Not worth the money!

I should first mention that I got this product to test for free from Chickadvisor. Which I good because had I purchased the product myself I would have been quite upset that I wasted $15.99 on a substandard product. I have 2 inch roots (hair is dyed blonde, natural colour is brown) and a few things: 1) the colour was off (the mascara was too dark so it made my roots look 2 toned) 2) the mascara was not good at masking the brown colour 3) I basically used up the entire bottle to cover up my roots so it doesn't last for a long time. so for $15.99 for basically one use Is not worth. I might as well have gone out with my roots showing because the product was cumbersome to apply and it didn't really do much for masking the roots. Too bad, Schwarzkopf is such a good brand but fails at providing a quick and easy way of getting rid of roots (just go out and get your roots dyed already)!
