I might buy it again

I worked very well to cover the grey quickly and effectively. However, it was a snowy, wet day and I ended up with black on my face at my temples where I had used it. On your head area it wouldn't be noticed.

Mediocre Results

I tried this hair mascara in dark brown, and I was not overly impressed with its application. I found it difficult to pick up the coloured powder onto the mascara brush even when I shook the bottle. There was very little powder on the brush each time I dipped it back into the bottle. When I was able to get a little bit of the powder onto the brush, it was easy to apply to my grey hairs especially at the roots. And, the powder stuck onto the hair. Overall, my experience with this product was not smooth. Perhaps, if there was more powder in the bottle, it would have made a huge difference in my results.

Hair mascara

I was selected to try out this hair mascara from the product review club #gotitfree. I was very excited to try out the dark brown colour for my brown hair(natural blonde). My blonde roots are about an inch so I found it was tougher to get my whole head. I think if your roots were just starting to come in then it would be much quicker. The colour was good. It took about 3-4 applications per area and it still wasn’t fully covered. It did darken it for sure. I will continue to try it out and see if it works better with shorter(lighter) roots for next time.

Hair Mascara

Very nice product. However, the product did not cover my grey very well in addition to feeling heavy in my hair. The colour was a good match for my hair. High price for the product.

Cool concept, but...

I really liked the idea of the hair mascara - what an easy way to cover those pesky greys! And it is easy, the wand/brush is very fine so it's easy to comb it through the hair , down whatever length is required. I found the colour matched very well with my natural colour. Unfortunately, I didn't get the coverage I had hoped for. While the product went on easily enough it was hardly noticeable once it was brushed/combed through as it was indicated to do in the instructions. For those strands that did hold any of the colour I found by midday it was all but gone. Sadly I wouldn't rush to purchase this product and I think I would be hesitant to recommend it to anyone.

A good product

I received this product to try as part of a chickadvisor campaign. I haven’t used a hair mascara in at least 15 years, and I found the product to be about the same as I remembered from my youth (though I wasn’t covering up greys back then!). If you’re in a pinch, going to an event, and you find your greys poking through, this hair mascara does a decent job of covering them up temporarily. However, if you have a head full of grey roots, it’s not super easy to cover up your whole head. The mascara felt strange on my hair as well - a cross between dry and sticky.

It would probably be effective on someone who has less grey than me, but for me, it wasn’t really effective.

Not My Favorite

I was happy to receive my free sample of this hair mascara.
I have what I call "nuisance greys" which refuse to colour and grow around my face. I tried covering them with the Schwarzkopf hair mascara.
First of all the brush seemed to get caught in my hair easily and pulled slightly.
The dark brown colour matched my hair completely. Sadly it took a lot of product to cover the greys I tried to cover so the tube wouldnt last long even with the small amount of hair I did cover.
The cost is also off-putting as it's a fairly expensive product.

J'ai finalement essayer le produit sur le coter de mes cheveux près des oreille ses la que j'ai des cheveux blanc loll!
Je n'est pas vraiment aimer se produit,je ne sais pas si j'en n'est mi trop mes en me déplaçant les cheveux j'en n'est eru sur les doigts!
Donc je ne sais pas si je les utiliser comme il faut mais je crois que oui!
Sa peut dépanner mais sans plus!

Good in a pinch!

I don't think this is a substitute for a true root touch up at a a salon, of course, but I also don't think it's pretending to be. It's a good, quick way to cover up your roots, for example, before going out for the evening until you can get to a salon to get your roots done properly. All in all, a decent product!

Didn't meet my expectations

I don't think this product is worth $15.99. I received this product for free in the mail and was given the "brown" shade. I have medium brown hair so I found that the hair mascara didn't stand out with my hair and the shade was off.
I thought the hair mascara had a nice scent and it went on easily without leaving my hair sticky. However, given the lack of colour matching, I wouldn't recommend this product and I wouldn't pay $15.99 for it
