Would buy again

I tried the mascara and it worked great. Covered the grey and matched my color. Had the black. Not messy like the spray. Would definitely purchase again.

Love this product

Unfortunately as you get older those pesky grey hairs continuously come back. It's hard to get to the salon on a regular basis as a busy mom. That's why I love having this hair mascara it's so quick and easy and very effective!!

Schwarzkopf Hair Mascara too much like Eye Mascara

I was given the opportunity to try the Dark Brown. I think I would use this in a pinch if I was really stuck but I find it difficult to use. I was trying to cover the grays in my roots but the wand kept getting stuck in my long strands. It does cover the grays but leaves a residue on your hair that I could feel when I ran my hand over my hair. I didn't receive any instructions on how to use it - so maybe I was using it wrong. Also, only a small amount of product gets on the wand at one time so you have to keep applying the mascara to get good coverage. I was really looking forward to this product.

Amazing coverage!

With just one sweep over the hair, this product covers grey instantly. The color matched very well and wasn't noticeable at all. I would definitely recommend.

Hair Mascara

Tried this a few days ago and have to say I'm surprised with the results. Whatever greys I have are completely gone now and covered. Great instant root touch up. No mess, color stayed well

Covers your roots and greys!

I received Schwarzkoph Hari Mascara as a try before you buy sample. My natural hair colour is light brown, but I dye it dark brown (which is the colour I received). The product works great and covered up my roots and pesky greys, however, it left my hair feeling tacky. After applying the product and letting it dry it left my hair looking a bit greasy and sticky to the touch. It also rubbed off on to my finger tips when I ran my fingers through my hair.
I think this product is great for a quick fix and the colour match is fantastic. I personally didn't care for this product based on how is left my hair feeling.

Not for me

I was excited to try this product. When it arrived in the mail I opened it right away and read the instructions. So it comes in a cute little brush looks just like mascara. I found it difficult to apply only because I was trying to keep my hands out of the way. I didn't find it covered my gray but it did make my hair look like I had some form of product in the front kind of greasy looking. Throughout the day it harden. But if I touched it I would still get black on my hands. I personally do not like this product.

Schwarzkopf did it once again!

So i received this free hair mascara from schwarzkopf in dark brown shade to try. I usually color my hair after every 5-6 weeks but those roots start getting grey within 3-4 weeks and its very annoying when just those white roots pop up everytime you try any hairstyle, and so i prefer using a temporary root cover up solution. This mascara made my life so much easier, its application is quick, its so convenient and super easy to use. Just had to hold the mascara brush in one hand and held the hair strand with another one, applied this magical thing on those grey roots and ta-daa! I was done in just 10 mins! It was very gentle on my hair and covered all the greys better than the spray i used to cover my greys before. Schwarzkopf hair mascara will now be my go to. It looks just like any other mascara. It came off easily as well. I personally think its a very handy product and is appropriately priced. I highly recommend it.

Hair mascara, to temporarily cover those pesky greys

I received this as a try before you buy sample. I have level 3 hair that I color at home using professional product. At almost 40 I have more grey hairs then I did 10 yrs ago.. 'Sigh' I received the dark brown Schwartzkopf hair mascara. It covers well but I find with the brush being the texture it is, my hair got snagged in it a bit as I tried to pull it thru. That is my only complaint. Other then that it covered well and lasted throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this for a temporary touch-up between root touch ups. Neat concept, easy to use

I got this sample for my mum, whose dark brown hair is starting to go white in some places. Her hair isn't white enough to justify dyeing regularly but if she doesn't the white hair is very visible so she will dye her hair to cover it. She has a sensitive scalp so it isn't favourable. This Hair Mascara is easy to use, does not have a scent, and shows instant results. You have to swipe the brush through your hair a couple of times to build up the colour but it does not get cakey or clumpy. So far, mom is liking this product and the idea that she won't have to dye her hair as often anymore! For the price of approx $11, I think we might purchase this again if this sample proves to work and last for a long time.
