Not for me!

This product was not for me. It was just ok. It dried well and didn't rub off, however I do work out alot and so it was dripping while I was sweating which was embarrassing. I think this product is best used for a quick fix when you have something to go to and need to quickly cover greys but other than that I think I would rather stick with something more permanent and longer lasting.

Quick fix - too good to be true

#gotitforfree I recieved this product as trial and was excited to try it out. Im in my thirties and have lots of greys and dont have time every three weeks to get it coloured and a quick fix is perfect for me. Unfortunately it is like spray painting your hair. If you dont do a good job it appears patchy or too dark in a section. I thought it would work as a spot touch up but you need to do your entire hairline for it to look seemless. Application can be messy since its a spray and product comes off if you scratch your head or rub you head against anything! I personally prefer a real root touch up hair dye that takes a little longer to do but better/longer results. As for coverage it did colour greys.

Only good for Halloween!!

I wanted this product to work so bad!!! For my stubborn and magically appearing greys. As the product was tricky to use I tried on my daughters grown out roots and turned it on my whites. It spits at the same time which is messy and hard for foreheads and around ears, it also sprays like a can of spray paint. It covers ok to be honest, but don’t expect for your hair to feel normal. It feels like it’s hard and stickyish. The paint or should I say color doesn’t come out in one wash off the scalp, it stains clothing. If you touch your hair it will get on your hands and it is unfortunately not a good product, unless all you need is a quick cover and you don’t mind the feel of product in the hair.

Temporary Root Cover Spray in Black isn,t worth the trouble

The Schwarzkopf temporary root cover spray is a big disappointment. The instructions were on the inside of the label, which is good. I got the black colour. It smells of butane but was tolerable. Went on precisely where I wanted it to be sprayed. It had dried fairly quickly and left a matt finish. Was hoping it would be a bit shinier. It made my hair feel like straw. There was significant dye transfer and flaking onto my face. Got some dye transfer in my car. Not a happy camper. Dye still transferred after 6 hrs. Once I got home, I hopped into the shower and it took 3 shampoos to get the colouring out and conditioner. There was still colouring transfer after all that on my hair towel. Not happy at all with this product. I will not recommend it or buy it.

Smells horrible and transfers

I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone who is sensitive to strong smells or who has dark hair. This product is horrible smelling. I had to hold my breath when I used it. Also, it takes awhile to dry down and when it does it still transfers if you touch your hair. I don't want to use a product that could possibly transfer onto my fingers leaving a huge dark smudge on my face.

Would rather stick to the greys!

I was really excited about the potential of a product that could help cover up some greys between colourings but I was disappointed with the product for a few reasons. It has a really strong chemical smell, it didn't effectively cover my few greys and it rubbed off on my hand afterwards.

I wouldn't purchase this product.

Root retoucher

This product I was so excited when chosen to try I dye my natural black hair about every 2 months and I thought this would be great cause I'm only graying near my ears and thought this would save from having to dye whole head but because I have such a small area to cover the nozzle gets product everywhere not just where u point it. If you have more area to cover I think it would work a lot better.

Rootmess not root retoucher

I received and tried the Root Rotoucher this weekend; black color.

I might have not received the proper color for my root anyway my critic will not be about the color but the usage.

First, I shake the bottle like any spray can of paint.
Then I read the instruction, which are almost none.
I started to apply, non color came out, was like a regular spray net
Suddently, the color came out which make a big black mess.
I removed most of it. I re-tried for a further distance the nit was not bad, can of color the white hair but didn't look natural or even like a hair dye

I let people in my office look at me without saying anything.
Reaction : OMG what did you put in your hair.
It basicly it didn't look no better then a black spray can for halloween to disguise in a witch.

Further more, when applying the product it leakon my forhead, neck and should and splashed on my hand

I will keep the product for Halloween
