Works pretty well

Recieved the root retoucher in the mail a frw weeks ago. Tried it out a few times and i think it works pretty well. Did what it was supposed to do. I have a lot of greys so when my roots come in they're very noticeable especially since i dye my hair black. The root retoucher covered them well and it means i dont have to redye my hair so often which is nice.
I would definitely recommend this product. I'll probably buy more in the future when this can runs out.

Great spray

I absolutely loved this! It’s so easy to use and by just spraying the bottle you can get easy roast root touch ups done. Make your life easier and get yourself one of these if you haven’t tried one as yet. It’s perfect for those last minute plans when you don’t have time to do any touch ups. And it doesn’t even look like you only spent minutes doing it!!

Its Messy!

I'm not too keen on this product. Its really messy. When you initially spray it on, there are flecks that fall onto your clothes and then if thru out the day you touch it, your fingers are stained. I would not recommend.

Great at first .. but then

I received this product as a part of the Chickadvisor Review Club. I was very excited to be chosen as a busy mom with long black hair and the beginnings of the much dreaded greys I was excited to try something that may help when time eludes a full head dye.
I always colour my hair at home but sometimes find that it’s exactly when I am too busy to fix it the greys creep back. When I receive this product was one of those times. I definitely had some grey roots going on. The first few times I tried the product it worked great... the third time the container started sputtering and ended up splashing my face and wall. Both were easy clean up but later in the day I noticed the spot it had landed on my cheek was sore and actually burnt.

Pros: covered well, fast and easy. No bad smell. Sleek packaging.

Cons: the failing of the spray on the cab was definitely annoying, but for me personally I won’t buy the product again because of the burn to my skin which was small but I am glad it didn’t get on a larger area.

Over all the idea is great but this one just didn’t cut it for me. It’s definitely worth a shot though to see if it works for you!

Relief of the Greys

I received a container of the #schwarzkopfrootretoucher from @chickadvisor to try.

The value of the product is much better than other competitors in the market place currently. So great value for the size.

I received black as the color for my greys. My hardest areas are my temple areas and the parting on the top of my head. The spray is really good and fairly accurate for applying. The color was 100% match to my natural color which was fantastic as you could not see the difference.

My apprehensions for the product are that 1) although it is quick and easy to apply to the hair, I am a glass wearer for reading and for work on my computer. The product does not adhere well and I found that each time I removed my glasses that a residue was left behind on them. This speaks to its longevity of staying put which I rate as poor.

Overall all though for the value and the fact that it is not messy and application is quick and easy this product works well for those quick fixes in a pinch.

If they could create a product that has better or longer lasting stay when initially put on, it would be an amazing product and one definitely that would become part of my hair routine rather than having to purchase hair coloring as often as I currently do.

For those who perhaps do not wear glasses or those whose grey is not in an area where touching is frequently done, this product would be fantastic in my opinion.

good coverage!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the coverage was. It only took a couple sprays to cover up my roots. Although it was a little difficult to get the first couple of sprays out, it is really easy to use and does not make too much of a mess. It looks natural too which is a bonus (:

It's Convenient

I'd say overall, it's a good product. I'm so glad there's no overpowering odor. It's a bit darker than what I was expecting. But it's black, so maybe I was just unrealistic there. It does what it says. There's slight thinning of my hair at the temples, & it concealed that pretty well.

Root retoucher at its best.
Definitely use the towel on your shoulders!
It does go on wet but dries quickly.
Covered my part where the sneaky silver hairs like to peak out.
No horrid smell which is a huge bonus.
Matched my hair colour well...black.
I would buy and recomend....now only if someone would develop an easy solution for permanent coverage!

Root spray for my grays

I got to test SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER as part of the Product Review Club #gotitfree. I was really excited to try this since after dying my hair within a month I'm noticing grays which is really annoying. This spray did cover my gray roots but it was hard to not get it on my face. It also made my hair have an unpleasant crunchy feeling after applying. I had high hopes for this product but I will not be purchasing it again.

Will not attempt this ever again

I was really excited to try this product! I have dyed black hair and my greys seem to sparkle as my roots grow in. It was deleivered at a perfect time, plans to go out and no time to dye my hair! I grabbed an old towel and draped my bare shoulders with excitement! First lesson on making a good roots cover up, aresol spray have zero control! It went everywhere! If I went too close it dripped, too far away my face was splattered in fine black
Dots. I don’t use hair spray or anything for hold and was left with crunchy hair. I am happy to have had this opportunity from Chickadvisor to try this product but I will not attempt again.
