This works!!

I received this product to review for free thanks to Chick Advisor! I have some grey hair that pop out now and then, plus I dye my hair as well.

This Schwarzkopf product actually works! You have to spray quite a bit to cover those roots. It takes some time to dry though. I like the directed nozzle as you can target where you need it. It does last until you wash your hair.

This product could stain clothing being so dark, be aware! This doesn’t have any strong scents and looks natural and I will use it for sure in between dye jobs.

Not bad

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. It was my first time trying a root touch-up spray, and I was pleasantly surprised at how effectively it covered. I touched up my grays, and then just for fun, I sprayed a few inches of my bleach blonde to see how well it covered. It worked great. The brown was a great match for my natural medium-brown hair, and the color was rich. As other reviewers mentioned, I would prefer a lighter spray, as this comes out with some force. I had to wash my hair before bed, as it does transfer, but I think that's the norm for this type of product. Overall, if I needed a quick touch-up before heading out the door, I would definitely reach for this.

It's OK

I received this in the brown colour which is a great match for my hair colour! I think this covers up greys well that I am going to use this in-between colouring while my roots are coming in!

There are a few downsides to this product:
1. The aerosol gets very cold! So after a while of spraying it into my hair, the product started coming out cold and that was very uncomfortable. I found that it was best to spray a few sections and then wait for the can to warm back up before using it again.
2. Although the spray is good you have to be careful of little splatters that can fly out of the aerosol. I needed to cover my face with my hand to prevent the little droplets that fell from getting on my face. It also makes a mess if you're not careful.
3. It leaves a stain if you don't wash immediately afterwards. I think this is because this is a true hair dye. I got some stains on my hands that took a bit scrubbing to take off.

It's for those reasons above I wouldn't recommend this product. The dye colour is great and it really lasts until the next wash but it's just a really uncomfortable and messy product. But if the issues I bring up above don't bother you then you might enjoy this!

Took some practice, but I love it now!

I was lucky enough to get Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher free to trial as a ChickAdvisor. I was excited because as I'm quickly approaching 40, my greys are becoming more pronounced, and I'm really bothered by the few 'strays' at the top of my head.

I tried this for a few days and will admit it takes a bit of practice to get it where you want it (and where you don't). But once I got the hang of it, it's great and looks so natural, you can't even tell I used anything. The wiry greys are hidden!

The good things Loved the packaging and felt the amount in the bottle was good. It did cover the grey and it felt okay on my hair, not greasy. the colour also blended well. It meant that my usual hair appointment was able to wait longer by a few weeks and overall that will end up being a great saving for me. Application is quick and easy and the spray nozzle is precise. There is no weird smell to the product and it washed out easily
