When I first received this product, I honestly didn't think that it would work at all. However, when I tried it, I was surprised to see that it did make my roots appear a lot lighter. I should have used one shade blonder to match my hair better but I definitely noticed a big difference anyways. It is a very fast way to hide root growth if you don't have the time to dye it permanently. The only thing is that it took awhile to dry and the dye came off on my clothes,and hands. Use a blow dryer to avoid that. I will definitely use this product again and recommend it only as a temporary fix until you have time for a permanent one.

Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher in Dark Blonde provides perfect coverage and is a perfect match to the dark blonde hair colour. The spray container is great for application making it easy and fast. If spray on skin (forehead) it’s easy to clean up without any problems. The hair feels and looks amazing after the application and the retouch washes out with the next wash.

Great quick fix

Unfortunately my hair is light blonde, and i was sent a dark blonde.
I did spray it on my hair, but i wasnt sure quiet how to, as there were no instructions.
I liked that it didnt add a weird texture to my hair .

Chalky blonde nightmare

I got the blond shade of this product to test for free from ChickAdvisor. I really did not like it at all. I found it left my hair looking super chalky and uneven. It did not blend well with my hair even though I have fairly light coloured hair. It tended to dribble out and make a big mess and was not easy to apply. I will definitely not be purchasing this product.

Not really a fan of Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher

I was going out to an event and wanted to wear my hair up and noticed I wanted to touch up the roots beside my ear. Its not the easiest area to cover as I was touching up my ear instead of the hair and it took several attempts to try to cover the hair. I am not too impressed with this product.

I #gotitfree and I’m honestly glad I hadn’t paid for it.
I tried the dark blonde and it was obvious my roots had been ‘sprayed’. I found it messy to use and I didn’t like the finish or the feel of my hair after using it.
Thankfully it washes out after one use but in saying that if I had loved the product this would have been a big drawback for someone like me who has to wash their hair every other day.
Won’t be trying again.

I would buy this product in a pinch to cover greys

I received this product free as part of the Chickadviser review Club. I received the colour dark blonde. I followed the instructions and had some issues with drips coming from the nozzle as I was trying to apply the product to my hair. It does have a scent which I didn’t mind. Coverage is great, it covers my grey and matches my hair quite nicely. But there was no way to stop the nozzle from dripping so I had to hold a tissue over my forehead as I was spraying my hair which was not terrible but a bit of a pain. In a pinch however I would still use it because if I’m running out the door and I need gray coverage it worked. If the nozzle got an upgrade I would give this product a 4.5. #gotitfree #tryRootRetoucher #CreateYourStyle

GOOD COVERAGE

I got the SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER for free from ChickAdvisor program to try it and give my honest review considering this product, so to be honest I think that I opted for the wrong shade (dark blonde )was little too light for my roots , but generally I like how it works this product that you can spray it on just like a dry shampoo to the roots , it's a great quick fix because the slimline nozzle makes application so easy and gives to the roots good coverage , another positive of this product is how easy it washes out , so it's perfect for special occasions , completely recommend.

#gotitfree #ChickAdvisor Schwartzkopf Dark blonde Root retoucher's packaging was not environmentally friendly or recyclable. The container was easy to open and use. The label was easy to read and to the point. I truly wasn't a fan of the ingredients as they are highly flammable! The 1st ingredient is butane!! WOW, Just wow!! Glad i didn't use a blow dryer or curling iron or straightener! As for the effectiveness of the product, it did not work or match as well as stated. It did however wash out as stated. I will NOT be purchasing this product in the future. Thank you so much for this opportunity to try before i buy.
