Night on the Town, greys be gone

I tried this temporary grey/root concealer. I like it but the product did not come with any instructions or tip sheet. It is like a hairspray but if you press the button slowly it comes out in big drips. I had to wipe away big drops on my head. When I figured out to just spray like hairspray the application was much better. It did in fact cover my roots and grey hair blending in well with my own hair color. By the end of the day some color did fade showing a little grey. The next day it washed out fine leaving a little coverage of my roots. Overall I would buy this product to extend between dyes. Also it would be good when you suddenly need to go out and cannot get to a salon or time to dye your hair. This product also felt relatively naturel in my hair like most hair styling products.

dark blonde root retoucher

I tried dark blonde root retoucher. This product is amazing. It totally covers the grey and blends in well with your hair colour. This product saves me money as i don't have to dye my hair as often. It sprays on easy and covers your grey. It looks natural and is priced well. I am giving this product a 5 star rating. Thanks Chickadvisor for letting me test this product out. Would reccomend this product! You won't be dissapointed!

Great way to extend the time between colours

I love this product as a quick and effective way to hide my greys in between colours. I have the dark blonde and it easily blends with my natural hair color

Expected better results

I found this product did not do the best job covering grey hair. I wouldn't say I have a substantial amount of grey hair but it is noticeable so I was hoping this product would do the trick to cover it up. I received Dark Blonde and it was a pretty good match to my hair colour but it just didn't live up to my expectations as far as grey hair coverage. I would not purchase or recommend this product.

This works great to cover grey

I was recently given Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher in Dark Blond for free to try as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review club. I have been dying my hair for a few years, lately at a salon and have a base colour of dark blond with light blond highlights.I have never bought these type of products before because they seemed expensive, but I was excited to try this free sample.
I really liked this product. It works better than I expected, and covered the grey regrowth along my part line very easily. It blended well with my base colour without staining my scalp.
The nozzle is very narrow but I guess that is to better direct the hair colour. The hair does feel a bit coarse and there is a slight vinegar smell, but the smell disappears after a short while.
This works great if you don't have the time to cover your roots permanently and I would highly recommend it.

Based on some of the other reviews both positive and negative, it seems like this works great to cover a lighter regrowth (ie grey) with a darker colour, but not so good the other way around.

Definately Recommend!

I first heard about Schwarkopf root retoucher when I was at my hairdressers. They sold the product and my hairdresser recommended it to me. I was so excited when I was chosen by Chicken Advisor to try it! I found it so easy to apply, it matched my roots perfectly and its an easy fix until I get into my hairdresser. I've already recommended it to friends.

J’ai eu la chance de tester le Root Retoucher de Schwarzkopf. Mes cheveux sont naturels et je ne trouvais pas de solution pour temporairement couvrir mes quelques mèches grises lorsque je me fait une belle tête. La couleur que j’ai reçue est acajou blond. J’ai utilisé un papier essuie-tout pour isoler et colorer les mèches grises. Le résultat est parfait. Le tout se fait rapidement et sans tracas. J’ai fait attention de ne pas trop insister avec le fer à friser par la suite, mais j’ai tout de même obtenu une belle mèche ondulée et sans gris; le bonheur! L’applicateur est petit et précis et permet de mieux cibler les endroits ayant besoin d’être colorés. Je le trouve parfait pour retoucher les tempes souvent plus grises. Je suis certaine que c’est un bon produit pour les repousses des cheveux teints. Je l’ai conseillé à mes amies.

Great product for temporary coverage

This product is great to use for temporary coverage in between salon visits. Its works best I find on covering grey. Easy to wash out. I used dark blonde. I received this product for free.

Didn't work on my dark blonde highlights

I recently tested Schwarzkopf Root Retouching spray. I was sorely disappointed. I have medium brown hair with dark blonde highlights. I do not have grey or white hair as of yet. ;) This spray didn't cover my roots. I did like the texture of the product. It wasn't sticky but it stayed quite wet and took awhile to dry. I could barely tell the color tone difference. Maybe it works wonders to cover darker hair colors. It was worth a try! Not worth it

I received this product from chickadvisor.com I have to say I'm pretty disappointed . It didn't work at all I put up before and after pics you can hardly tell the difference and it left my hair and scalp feeling gross with alot of build up. If you have roots just get your hair done don't bother with a spray
