I wouldn't buy this and I'm grateful I #gotitfree to try.

I'm really glad I tried the Schwartzkopf Root Retoucher for free. First time for me using a color spray for my hair other than on Halloween. The scent was a little too strong however that may be because it's an aerosol. I found it easy to use and the coverage was good except for greys, they came shining through. The color was darker than what I expected and you could really see the color on my scalp. It's great in theory, but I think if there were more shades to match your colored hair and the spray was finer like airbrushing, it could be a great product.

Spray on Root Touch Up was a never again mess for me.

While I understand the idea behind the product. It felt like spray paint on my head the colour was darker then it should have been. It did cover the roots but if I ran my fingers through my hair my fingers turned the colour of the paint.
My family did not like the way it made my hair look and feel. It made my hair hard and I couldn't wait to wash it out.

Smells great.

I tried this product on four occasions and found that the product itself went on evenly and dried quickly. The shade made my hair look quite cool really, more ombré. The product only lasted 1 day in my hair and brushed out easily. I think this would best work for people with darker hair for a gray root touch up.

I tried this, and its not for me. First off, they should have more color choices. I'm strawberry blond. I chose dark blond, and it just looks terrible. Maybe the reg blond would have been a better color choice.
But I still wouldnt purchase this product. I would rather spend the money on a regular hair dye, as I can get a closer, better color match to my own hair, and it lasts way longer.
I also didnt like the chalky look it gives you.

Schwarzkopf® Root Retoucher™ is easy to use but not great

I received Schwarzkopf® Root Retoucher™ as a free trial and was exited to try it.
The instructions were not clear on the bottle, so thankfully I received thorough instructions through ChickAdvisor.
A simple spray on method on styled hair and you are good to go... As long as you do it perfectly. Use too much and you get darker results (I tried the dark blond).
You want to make sure not to fuss with your hair once the colour has dried or it starts to flake. It would be nice if the applicator was a bit more precise.
It did wash out fairly easily with one shampoo.
Personally I wouldn't buy this for myself.

Not good for my hair

I got this from Chick Advisor for free and i was super excited to use it. I took it out of the box and ran upstairs right away to use!
I noticed on the bottle there was no instructions and OMG how it smelled! Very strong. No matter how much i put in my hair nothing changed and my hair felt like there was hairspray in it. Not happy.

Messy and powdery

I thought this was a root touch up dye. But it’s more of a powder spray .... I’m not sure I love the application . I think it may take some practice and I worry about staining clothes or what if I sweat and it runs ???

Good for special occasions

I received Schwarzkopf Root retoucher for free to try and review. It's easy to use, doesn't have strong smell, can be used as dry shampoo (only on already styled hair) and I suggest to use it only on special occasions on already styled hair. And here is why:
I have dark blonde hair and choose Root retoucher with the same colour(my colour exactly as shown on the bottle) but when I sprayed it the colour was much darker (like my natural colour), more like on the bottle with dark brown colour. This spray made my hair looks matte so it's a win if your don't have time to wash your hair as well. It's covered my grey hair as well! But this spray easily comes off if you touch your hair, will live marks on clothes(when you spray it and if you wear hat, earmuffs and pillows), they are easy to wash, but be careful. The color from sprayed hair come off after one wash. I will recommend it for dark hair, to mask greasy hair and grey hair and only apply on already styled hair.

Covers grey but leaves hair untouchable

While Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher did deliver on covering my skunk-like roots, it left my hair very sticky. To really test it, I left it in my hair for a few days. I must say the grey did stay covered but I suspect it is because there is some kind of adhesive that attaches the colour to the hair.
I don't think I will purchase this one.
However, I am grateful for the opportunity to try it first.

Covers Gray

I received the root touch up in "dark blonde" to try. The first issue I had, was that there were no instructions on the can of how to apply the product! I finally found instructions on an email send out from "chickadvisor." When I tried the spray on my roots, I found very little change in the colour of my hair...although I have to say it did cover the grey! I may have ordered the wrong shade for my hair, or applied it incorrectly, but I honestly didn't see much of a change. I would give this product another try, but I would use it more to cover grey rather than root touch up.
