OMG love at first use! My New all time Fave!

I love this
The dark brown is actually dark brown not black or some weird orangy brown like other companies out there have on the market.
It really is sweatproof & looks natural...a girls best friend.
I will never again buy anything else!!

Covered up grey roots pretty well

Tried this with my mom. It's fairly easy to do it yourself. We noticed that it stains the scalp a little bit so make sure to wear gloves and rub the colour into the hair and then it's not as bad. When spraying, there's some splatter around the area so ensure that you lay down some old towels or paper to cover your clothes and the immediate area. The colour looked really good after application. You just need a small spritz and the nice dark brown colour attaches really well to the hari. This is a temporary solution to colour your roots so it comes off when you wash your hair. It works pretty well as a quick fix when you're in a rush to go out for the day and don't have time to do a complete colour. Check out the before and after pictures. Pretty awesome!

A clever, useful product!

Nifty little product for those last few days before your colouring appointment. It’s practically a dry shampoo with colour. The nozzle is long and thin and allows for very precise application, but if you get any on your skin, don’t worry - it comes off right away with just a tissue. I got it in brown, and it’s super easy to use - just spray on the grey :)), brush out and voila! I had to go over some of the spots twice to get them even, but in the end the powder blended perfectly with my hair and looked very natural - no visible chalkiness or stiffness. It smells exactly like dry shampoo, and the scent is not overpowering. You just have to remember to wash your hair before going to bed, as the powder will rub off on pillows. All in all, it’s a great trick to have in your arsenal of last-minute fixes that instantly make you look more put together.

Great for Emergencies

I did not realize that this was a 'spray on' product so that was a bit of a surprise when I opened the box. Very nice packaging by the way, I kept the box for re-use.
The product does not come with directions. Probably it's self explanitory – spray on hair . . . but a reminder to wear gloves would have been nice. This is not a one person application unless you are used to doing your own styling – I am not – I can't even braid my own hair. Still I managed OK.
The photos are also not really do it yourself material LOL, but I think they show the coverage. Which I will upload when my computer and iPhone talk to each other . . .
So while not the easiest product to use, it did cover well and I like the colour. Too bad it washes out in one shampoo, one of my criteria for root coverage is that it last until I have time to go to the salon.
Overall , I would buy this in an emergency where I did not have time for a Nice & Easy

Not for me.

I cannot say that I liked this product. It did seem to work but I found it messy. I would rather use a brush to apply so it goes directly on the right spots without making a mess. Not for me.

I was happy to receive this product in black for a trial period. I was satisfied with the way it covered my greys yet will agree with most others as far as the nozzle issue. I find it messy to apply along with drippy. I will continue using this product and would buy it in the future. I love it! I've been looking for a product like this, it does blend in well, covers my greys in between colouring and did not find too messy once I got used to applying it.

J'ai testé le produit et je confirme que c'est une excellente alternative pour camoufler les repousses de cheveux gris lorsque le temps nous manque pour refaire la teinture.
C'est vite appliqué, c'est propre et net, sans tache et ça recouvre bien le gris. J'ai testé le brun foncé et la couleur se marie bien avec le reste des cheveux.

Not what I had expected

I received the Schwarzkopf root retoucher in dark brown free from Chick Advisor to try and It wasn't quite what I had expected. It was easy enough to use and the colour matched up good with my hair colour but it was kind of messy. You should have plastic gloves on when you use it. It sprays on in spots and you need to work it in so you don't see brown circles on your skin. Without gloves your fingers turn brown. It does wash off easy though. When it's dry, your hair is left with a crusty feeling and it's not soft at all. I could feel it in my hair all the time and if I ran my hands through my hair later on in the day, my fingers still turned brown. It also turns the comb brown when you brush out your hair.
The root retoucher is a great idea for quick and easy touchups when you don't have time to do a full colour. I just don't really like how it feels on my hair. I would like it to feel more natural and not like my hair is too full of hair product.

Expecting better, but product didn't quite perform

I got the color Dark Brown which is a good match for my hair color. I am about 25% grey and have approximately half an inch growth of un-dyed hair at the roots. I was quite excited to try this as it would be so much easier to spray on the color than to constantly have to touch up my roots with dye.

Unfortunately, the product didn't work very well in covering up my grey hair. I had to spray a lot of product on, and even then, the greys were still noticeably lighter than the rest of my hair. The smell was also not very pleasant, and the color does rub off if you run your fingers through your hair.

I regretfully, cannot recommend this product as an effective method of temporarily covering up grey hair.
