Good for Quick Fixes

At first this was a little tricky to apply, it actually took me a couple tries to get a feel for it. I was shocked to see that it washes out in one shampoo; I had the impression that maybe it would last at least a couple of washes. But honestly, this is a good thing because if you're in a bind and need a quick fix for those roots, this product is a great option.

I would buy this product for a temporary fix between colours

I tested the dark brown root retoucher. The area I needed to cover was right at my temples and along my hairline. I'm just starting to grey and I've been trying to hide it by getting blonde highlights when I get my hair coloured but the grey area is getting more obvious. I had some issues with drips when applying the retoucher but they cleaned up easily. The product also needed to stay on my scalp where my grey hair is to keep the dark colour but for one evening I was fine with that. It was not obvious. Just don't try to make the product last longer than a day in this colour without washing and reapplying if using in an area with thin hair. Overall I recommend the product for a quick touch up between colours. Now I need to get some permanent added to that area because I looked younger with my brown back. #gotitfree #CreateYourStyle

Messy to use

I received this product free to try and review. I tried the product on my roots on the part of my hair and that worked ok, though I felt it took the shine out of my hair. The problem came when I tried it on my hairline and on my temples. It dripped it my face and chest. Didn’t feel it covered the gray all that well but I was reluctant to keep spraying product. Would not use it again.

pas si facile à utiliser

j'ai recu et testé la couleur brun foncé . La couleur est parfaite pour couvrir ma repousse. Mais l'utilisation est laborieuse . Trop près il y a des coulisses et ca tache dans le fond de la tête ou meme dans le front :( .Trop loin ca fait un "nuage" mais ne couvre pas bien , surement qu'à long terme j'aurai la "twist" pour bien l'appliquer ,mais pour l'essai je n'ai malheureusement pas l'intention d'en acheter.

This product is so convenient!

The product arrived on a day that I was going out and hadn't had time to dye my hair. I was thrilled when the mailman rang the doorbell and there it was! My hair is dark brown (almost black) so when the roots come in they are very noticeable. I was meeting my friends for lunch and couldn't wait to try the product. I unpacked it and sprayed. I was amazed at how it matched my hair colour exactly! I was thrilled that I wouldn't feel self conscious on my outing. It lasted until my next shampoo, which is awesome! It didn't bleed onto my pillow case and the colour did not change from the day I sprayed. I love it and will definitely purchase it for quick fixes!

Great as Emergency Touch-Up

As I color my hair frequently, I worry about the damage to my hair. 'Ive been on the look out for the product that will allow me to extend the time between colorings. I was hoping that SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER would be that product.

The product is easy to use - just shake and spray. Color matching poses a but of a challenge as I thought the dark brown retoucher would match my dark brown hair dye. But keep in mind that if you're using it because your grey roots are showing, chances are that your hair color has probably changed in those 4-6 weeks. I would go with a lighter shade next time. Also, it does tend to rub off, so washing it out before bedtime is recommended if you want to protect your pillowcases and sheets. It's because of this shortcoming that I would only recommend it as an emergency retoucher. You know the scenario - meeting up with a few friends and as you're getting ready you notice your grey roots. No time to color your hair - this product will do in a pinch!

TIPS: Remember to give this product a good shake before using. Wear protective clothing because no matter how careful you are, this product has a large "blast" area.

Great root retoucher

I received and tried the Dark Brown Root retoucher. I had dyed my hair brown and the roots were showing a little bit, which was great since it was perfect to try out this retoucher. It worked really well! It was really easy to apply as well. I would recommend this product and will keep using it when my roots are showing. #gotitfree

Merveilleux produit

J'ai eu la chance d'essayer le produit gratuitement et j'ai été vraiment contente du résultat. J'ai reçu la couleur brun foncé. Ça dépanne entre 2 teintures pour cacher mes cheveux blancs,très facile à utiliser. C'est certain que je vais en acheter!

Quick and easy!

I love the concept of this product. It increases the length of time I can go without going to the salon. It is easy to apply as well: I didn’t have trouble getting all my roots and I didn’t have to worry about inconsistency. As for coverage, it did the job. The dark brow was slightly lighter than the colour of my almost black hair but it wasn’t too big of a difference. Overall, this is a good product for quick and easy root touch ups at home until your next colouring!

J'ai aimé que se soit super simple à appliquer. Pour les matis pressé ce produit est simplement génial. Il dure plus de trois jours et il a une super couleur. Je vous la recommande fortement.
