Roots Begone

I have never done root touch up. So when a saw the opportunity to try i had to apply. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. Ended up getting some on my hand and really had to srubs it off. The spray I wished wasn't like a stream more like a thin fine mist.

un nouvel indispensable

J'ai reçu ce produit dans la teinte brun foncé et la teinte était tout simplement parfaite pour mes cheveux. J'ai trouvé que le produit fonctionne très bien pour les repousses grises. Par contre, il fonctionne moins bien pour cammouffler un ou deux cheveux gris.

Didn't cover my grays

I was disappointed with this cover up product. I was sent dark brown and it didn't effectively cover my gray hair. I tried numerous times with no success. My gray hairs concentrate around my temples and around my ears. I was disappointed because I love, love the Schwarzkopf hair colour. It's actually the only hair colour I use. Didn't work for me. But, maybe better for lighter hair.

Not Worth The Hassell To Messy

I was going out one evening and needed to hide some grey hair so I decided to try Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher in Dark Brown. First I must say it did work well to cover the areas and hide the greys and roots however it didn't look natural and i didn't like the smell of it nor the nozzel on it. I found it was very messy and if you touched your hair even after it was dry you would get black on your hands and fingernails and it was hard to get off even on my face after doing my makeup. It did the job but was such a hassel and very messy and did not look natural at all and it took me 2 shampoos to wash it out of my hair. I really didn't like this product at all and I personaly would not recommend it or buy it. #tryRootRetoucher #CreateYourStyle #gotitfree

Good concept, bad product

I received the shade "dark brown" free for review from ChickAdvisor. First of all, this is a wonderful concept, especially for those who colour their hair like me. I also LOVE this brand and own several other products, but this one just didn't make the cut. The shade was a perfect match. My issue is that the container itself, though it claims to have a precise nozzle, is the opposite. The brown stuff comes out so fast, and it concentrates one dot in your roots rather than spread it evenly like a dry shampoo. I tried to use my fingers to spread it, and it just stained them. Once you have this part figured out, it looks good. But the downside is that if you touch it with your hands, or touch a scarf/shirt after, it will transfer. If you sleep with it, it also transfers to pillowcases. It does wash out easily, but honestly, this isn't an "every day" product because it's hard to work with and takes a while to make it work (Like, 20 minutes, that's way too long). I'd only use it if I literally was covering up my root regrowth/greys for a day or two before needing to get a touch-up. I wouldn't use it on a day to day basis. You may as well use brown eyeshadow for the same effect but with minimal transfer - Just my opinion.

Covered my greys and matched my natural hair colour!

I #gotitfree (the Schwarzkopf® Root Retoucher™) in dark brown to review and I loved it! I've never died my hair before, so I'm used to covering up the grey hair around my temples using some sort of colouring stick. This spray looked a lot more natural and was easy to use. What I loved the most was how well it blended in to my natural hair colour. It stayed on all day and I also like the look and feel of the packaging.
The only downside is that I had to cover the side of my face when spraying because I didn't want to stain my face, so I'd recommend spraying it on before putting on your makeup, but, nonetheless, it's easy to wipe off.

Too messy

I tried the dark brown schwarkopf root retoucher from chickadvisor for free. I was really excited to try something to cover my grey quick for those in between hair appointment times. I shook the bottle like it said (which by the way was the only instruction on the bottle). Then I went to work at covering my grey roots. I found the product to be very messy and the spray came out drippy which created dark blotches on my hair. I found the colour to be perfect but the application was not easy. I would not recommend this product for that reason.

I was given the opportunity to try out the Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher in Dark Brown. Wow! I love it! It totally covered the greys and I would definitely recommend this product for the 'in between' stage. It does come out really fast and strong so be careful. Other than that, I have no complaints. I will be purchasing this in the future. Thanks!

I will most definitely buy this again.

I am so happy I got to try this product.It was better than I thought it would be. It goes on a little thick but once I brushed it in it looked fabulous, covering all my roots.

A perfect solution to covering grays!

I tried the dark brown and was skeptical that it would do as promised, that is, colour my roots without being noticeable - I didn’t see how it was possible to match it up with my hair colour but sure enough you couldn’t tell! Moreover, I had a friend of mine try it who also colours her hair dark brown. She dyes it a different shade of brown than mine yet it wasn’t noticeable in her hair either! Absolutely amazing! It sprays on easily & evenly and dries instantly. It lasts all day and doesn’t flake or wear off. It’s matte and the way it coats your hair makes it look natural, as if each hair were brown. Because of the way it sprays on it doesn’t colour your scalp and if you get any on your skin it wipes off easily. This stuff is absolutely fabulous, I have not one negative thing to say about It!
