Good Value

I was given the Schwarzkopf® Root Retoucher™ in Dark Brown to try by ChickAdvisor for free in exchange for my honest review. I thought the product was easy to use and worked well covering greys, however I did find it messy, and hard to accurately spray a small area. It's a great product for a quick fix in between trips to the salon. I would probably buy it again.

Covers greys

I used this product to cover greys in between hair dyes. It worked as advertised to cover greys and blend with the current hair colour. It washed out in the shower easily.

J'ai recû le produit Root Retoucher en brun foncé. Je l'ai utilisé et couvre très bien le gris. À ma grande surprise et ne sy dégage aucune odeur. Facile à appliquer et couvre bien. On peux long à sécher pour le reste c'est parfait!

Wouldn't buy again, unless....

So, when I saw your reviews on the root touch up I was fairly impressed with the results. Anyways I bought some,cause who wouldn't want to be able to hide your roots!! My hair is very blond with very dark roots, it didn't cover up over the dark roots. So I would rather go with dark roots (until I get hair did) than to have the wierd color that the touch up spray made.I mean I don't want to look like I dyed my roots and the hair colour didn't match up. So I was disappointed but if my hair was darker I would most likely buy this product again. Also, I think the quality of this product was good. So I hope this helps if you're hair is blonde.

Effective and Convenient!

I #gotitfree and the timing was perfect! I've always had problems with grey circles after coloring my hair and for special events and limited time, I just want to patch and go. This does the job perfectly and color lasts a decent time. Only wish it wasn't as expensive so I can use it more often.

I'm gonna pass on this one

I was very excited to receive this product. I was hoping to find something to keep me from visiting the salon every six weeks - it gets expensive! I was hoping this would be it, but sadly, it has not met my expectations.

The application went on smoothly enough I guess, with some drips on my face that came off easily (thank goodness). But it was very matte, no shine at all. It just looked off.

Later in the day, when I went to run my fingers through my hair, it was sticky, like I had hairspray in it, which I did not have in my hair.

Needless to say, I'll pass on this one. Thanks so much for letting me try it though!

WOW! JUST WOW! I tried the dark brown root retouchup for the fist time a few days ago. Due to the fact that I had about 2 full inches of grey showing I thought there was no way possible for me to cover it all with just one can. I put on my plastic gloves and used a finger to hide my skin and with quick even strokes covered my grey and matched my color perfect. I didn't have to use much at all. It was great for being in a hurry and no time to have my hair dyed. I have used it a few times since then and it washes out great. I love it and would recommend it to my friends and family for sure!

Love this product!!!

My sample came at the perfect time...a few weeks before my next visit to the salon and my roots were bright and shiny in my dark hair. I was a bit nervous at first as the sample came with no instructions, but I managed to get the hang of it and cover up my 'natural silver highlights.

Not For Me

I received the dark brown Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher to try for free from Chick Advisor. I sprayed it on my grey roots. It sprays out really quick so aim for the correct spot! Cover your clothing too, overspray! It covered my grey but I didn’t like the feel of my hair with the product in it, and it didn’t dry... so I don’t think I would purchase it. #tryRootRetoucher, #CreateYourStyle #gotitfree.

Has become a household favorite!

A very solid root retouch spray, covers greys with EASE! I used my mom for demonstration and now she calls me over everytime she washed her hair to cover her roots again!
