More yellow than blonde

I reviewed Schwarzkopf Light Blonde Root Retoucher and I #gotitfree.

I was excited to see how this product worked as it looked quite quick and easy to apply and I liked that I didn't have a long term commitment. I will give it that it washes out easily in a single shampoo.

Otherwise, it didn't work well for me. It left my blonde hair looking yellowish on top, instead of blending the roots with my hair. I didn't care for the texture, though I'm a huge fan of dry shampoo. It was too visible, even after I blow dried it on a low setting to try and disperse it better.

I can't say that I would purchase this product again.

Schwarzkopf is such a Great product especially if you need a quick fix up Togo to a function what a blessing! Absolutely no odor. What a perfect product! The Color matching was unbelievably died on! Thank you for letting me try it, I’m hooked!

Not so thrilled unfortunately …

I am not so thrilled about this one unfortunately… it had a dusty feel to it, there was some burning sensation when I first applied it… I think my hair looked better before the application, it looked like some dusty powder dropped on my hair after the application, it was very matte, not lively at all.. not planning to use it again.

Produit efficace qui couvre très bien à son application

Excellent produit que j'ai eu la chance d'essayer gratuitement grâce à ChickAdvisor reçu chez moi. J'ai adorer car il couvre très bien à la racine dès son application et de plus extrêmement facile à application. La couleur est parfaite et en plus il y en n'a plusieurs pour trouver ce donc nous convient. Je recommande ce produit pour cacher la repousse parfaitement. Goodbye Gray Roots!

So awesome, I received my Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher by mail  I received the root retoucher in “light blond”.

Instructions were easy and straight forward but was hard to find (they need to improve that, or easier way to find the instructions by peeling back the label). I had to find out online were the instructions were hiding.

I started growing heredity gray hair at a young age (late teens). I’ve been colouring my hair for many years now, in my younger years I use to colour my hair red but as I got older it became harder to maintain as my gray roots were increasing and I was colouring my roots too often, so I decided to go blond because gray roots tend to blend well with blond than darker hair colours. I use to use a hair root retoucher very much like a crayon, that seemed to be all that was available at the stores at the time. Happy now there is a spray-on to touch up my gray roots, it’s quicker and convenient to apply than the root colour crayon. Thanks to this great product, I can now give my hair a nice break and go longer without having to use hair colour, instead of once a month I can extend it an extra week or two.

This is a fantastic product to have, I’m really happy with how well it covers my regrowth. It’s quick and easy to use and the spray nozzle is accurate, good coverage and even tone. There is no scent and washes out easily. Great value and quality, retails for $14.99 at my local drug store.

Overall I really like this product and will definitely consider purchasing this product at my local stores.

A great fix!

This product wasn't perfect...but it was a lifesaver. It was a little sticky and made my roots a bit flat, but the color blended in nicely and it did hide them nicely. As a blonde who lightens, my roots tend to come in a little darker anyway so hiding them after the first few weeks is a MUST!

root retoucher

It was really easy to use the SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER and covered my roots very good but I just didnt like how it covered my roots . My hair felt just like if had alot of hair spray in it and was very hard to comb or brush my hair after using SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER. when i did get the brush through it my hair looked gross will not be using that again

Good for a quick touch up

My hair is quite a light blonde and I was worried this product wouldn't be light enough to match. I did find that it covered the roots fairly well but the darker your hair is, the more effective I think the product would be. It's tough to cover any roots on bleached hair given the stark colour difference with the re-growth.

It works great if you need a quick fix for your roots!

I would by the Schwarzkopf root retoucher again. I did have a little root regrowth and for a quick fix to that problem this is a great solution although you might have to try out the various shades of blonde to get the correct colour match. You might have to experiment a little with the product to get the right look though in my opinion. I would recommend this to a friend as it’s a great quick fix in between colours. #gotitfree

Nice in theory but doesn’t work for me

So I have very light dyed blonde hair with dirty blonde/light brown roots. I followed the instructions and used it on my regrowth, but it came out looking green!! Like super weird and green and a strong smell. I tried brushing it out a little bit to blend it and he colour improved a little, but I would never go out wearing it. #gotitfree I received this item complimentary to review.
