This product is less harsh than Listerine, and it probably won't wear down your teeth as much if your enamel is weak.

not my favourite mouth wash in the market. it doesn't really refresh your breath like listerine does. also the after taste is so gross!

I prefer this mouthwash over listerine mainly because it has less of a strong burning sensation in my mouth.It also gives me clean fresh breath. The only thing I would say is that, I wish the freshness was a bit more long lasting. I do think your breath stays fresher a little bit longer with listerine.

Why would dental associations approve and recommend mouthwashes that have sugar in them? That seems a little ridiculous. Scope does not contain sugar. It contains an artificial sweetener call saccharin. It's not sugar!

I'm a Listeriner myself, but I don't think there's anything wrong with Scope. If you don't like the burn of Listerine (from the essential oils), try Scope as it is milder.

The think about SCOPE is... It tastes great and mintifies your breath and all...but they contain such high amounts of sugar that 2 ) they can actually GIVE you bad breath once the mint wairs off (fermentation of the sugars in your mouth) and welll- there sugars! we all know how bad sugars are for your teeth...

Truth is the better they taste the higher the sugar content...and I could ALMOST drink SCOPE lol so I onlt use it when I HAVE to...

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and this is the product the oral surgeon's office provides for its patients. I figure it must be just fine if they endorse it. So, while I heal, to keep my big mouth craters clean and free of food particles, I rinse w/ scope after ever meal and snack. The flavor is great and the burning effect minimal. Its a much more pleasant experience than Listerine. I cannot vouch for all the trendy new flavors and colors. I stick to the original that I know works and is recommended by my doctor. Scope it out!
