Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape

This was a life saver when an emergency arose with a bridesmaids dress! The day of the dainty zipper decided it did not want to budge past where the fabric bunched at the waist and rather than risk breaking the zipper this was used to help create an open back that looked as if this was how the dress was originally designed.

As a person with short legs all my pants are long and I hate when they are not hemed right.this product works amazing I highly recommend it.it has the right stick to it and doesn't come loose when wearing

Didn’t work for me

I’m not a fan of this product. Didn’t hold my hem up on my jeans. I can see it working on thinner fabrics but not if your moving around all night. Wasn’t the easiest to remove off my clothes either.

When you can't sew but need to do something

Perfect for on the go, and if you can't sew. 10/10 would buy this again, you can create a hem out of nothing and if you don't have steady hands this is perfect for you to alter your clothes to your needs. Simply put the tape on the one side of the clothing and fold to your desired hem pull the other side of the tape off and put together! And there you go! Perfect hem everything.

This tape is amazing! It sticks very well. I did think it wouldn't work. When ya move about and that you would them the trousers bottoms would untape.. was very amazed

Best idea ever, as a short girl myself I find my pants always too long. This is such easy fix, holds up we’ll definitely will be buying again. Love this

Hem those pants!

i use this on my kids school unifrom pants. I can't sew anything to save my life so this hemming tape is a lifesaver. I don't have to waste time going to the dry cleaner and waiting to get my clothes back. Works great.

Great temporary fix

It works great to temporarily change the hem length on a pair of dress pants, I would reccomend using the Permanent tape if you need a long term solution.. used to use this all the time at work to show ladies how to fix their hems without compromising on the fit they like..

A perfect fix

What an amazing idea this product is! Had to.try it. Was a little disappointed with how long the tape held during activity but overall impressed with the strength of the product. A perfect solution for a last minute problem. If you have to wear that outfit tonight and have no time to hem or sew - this product is for you - just take it easy on it if you want it to last all night.

Temporary solution

It is a good product, just not made for too much movement. I used on my pair of pants when going to dance and the tape did not hold for 20 minutes into the night. But overall a good product if you are not intending to move too much.
