I received this for free as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. I was eager to try it although had reservations as to whether it would actually to the job. I was pleasantly surprised! It holds hems in place and while it is only temporary and you have to remove it before washing, I like that it is not permanent and you can make corrections or sew your hem properly at a later stage. I found it easier to work with shorter strips at a time rather than one long strip. A perfect item to keep in your purse or in your drawer at work for quick little repair jobs.

I LOVE this product! One of my pet peeves is how difficult it is to deal with pant and skirt hems based on the type of shoes I'm wearing... I actually own several similar looking skirts and pants with different hem lengths so they look good whether I'm in ballet flats or heels.

This is such a great product. You apply the tape and boom, you've got a shorter hem without a permanent alteration! So great particularly if I'm leaving work and walking somewhere. I've had to do the dreaded pant fold so the hem doesn't drag on the ground when I change into my flats... this was super handy for that.

I also see this being useful for my baby's pant hems too.

I received the Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape to test from ChickAdvisor. I used these strips to hem a pair of jeans that were a bit too long, especially when I was wearing sneakers or flats instead of boots. This tape was easy to use, all I had to do was measure/fold the bottom of my pants leg, iron a bit, and then apply the double sided tape. I used two pieces of tape for each leg of my jeans. This is a good, temporary method to hem jeans or whatever else you need to shorten. Easier than using staples like I used to! This is a great product and will buy again.

I used it to put the hem up on my dress pants in a pinch before work that had come undone.
And I am now at work and things are working well.
It holds up, I have no fear that it is going to come undone.

i tried this product and it worked great . I love the fact that i can use it when i need it and then take it off , great for someone like me that wears high heels occasionally, so i can take the hem off when i wear them . It was easy to apply and fast , and it is super durable .

I think this is a great idea especially if you like to change up your shoes. I have many favorite outfits that I can only wear with very high heel due to the pant length. Now with Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape I can easily and quickly make any of my pants or skirts shorter. Simply turn the garment inside out and fold up the hem to your desired length. Peel off adhesive strip and stick it to the inside edge. Peel off the top paper layer to reveal the sticky tape and fold up the portion you want as your new hem and firmly press. It is that easy! I was delighted to receive this product to review for ChickAdvisor. I thought it was easy to apply and pretty secure. I used it as a temporary hem guide for my tailor to use to hem my pants. My tailor doesn't have a place to try on clothes, so you have to bring it to them ready-to-sew. Other than that, I'm not sure what else I would use the adjustable hem tape for, unless I had an item that I wanted to weat as both long and shore.

I thought this was a great idea and I can see it being used a lot for a lot of different clothing items. I have a dress that I always wanted shortened, but I didn't want to have it sown and have to keep it at that length. So this was prefect for me and for my dress. Now I can raze and lower the length depending on where I'm going and don't have to make either permanent. Its easy to use, doesn't damage your clothing and stay's in place until you take it off. It's also a great product for anyone that like's to borrow cloths from friends that maybe a little taller than you are.

This is a great way for me to hem pants without sewing and it doesn't take long at all. I'm amazed at how easy it is and the staying power as well. It's fool-proof!
