I got this product to review for free from Chick Advisor and I was so excite because I just bought this beautiful pencil skirt that is the perfect length usually but I needed it slightly shorter for a new pair of boots. So I use this product right away and I was so impressed! It kept the hem up with no issue of unglueing. And when I took it off there was no gross residue on the material

This product was made for me!! I have purchased almost all of my pants with flats and heels in mind. I want them long enough to wear with heels but then they are too long to wear with flat shoes so I end up folding them. And then, of course, the ends get frayed from hitting the floor as I walk. These adjustable hem tapes are perfect because I can remove and adjust them as I need. They are super simple to use... just peel and stick! This is a brilliant invention and every woman should have some in her home!

This product worked great! I used it on a pair of pants that needed a quick adjustment. It's obviously not as good as going to a tailor but if you're in an emergency situation then this is perfect. It is fast and easy to use.

I loved Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape. I used it on some work slacks that I usually wear with heels, but wanted to wear with flats! it was fast and easy and I love that it is adjustable! this is a great idea!!

I really like the concept and I tried it on my wool dress pants.
I'm not sure I am in love with the results, the hem isn't as crisp as from the tailor but I think it would be useful in a pinch. I would definitely consider bringing this on a work trip to make some meeting appropriate skirts evening appropriate as well so I could pack lighter.
It is quite pricey, but cheaper than going to the tailor.

I tried it on my Halloween costume skirt and it worked so well and stayed all night with no falling out or anything. I am just simply amazed by this product. I mean whoever invented this is such a genius.

Short girl woe #233 - I need to hem every single piece of clothing I own. But I also have gotten very good at buying pants that can be folded up or adjusted for heels vs flats. BUT then I'm constantly adding safety pins in and out of pants and turning them into giant pincushions.

I'm a believer when it comes to the Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips, but how did I feel about their semi-permanent friend? Well, pretty friendly, overall. I like the idea of an adjustable option that doesn't require safety pins to keep my hems clean, but I found the stick-um removal process, rather sticky. Putting the adhesive on was pretty straight forward.
1. Turn item inside out.
2. Measure hem
3. Rip off strip of tape
4. Apply along seam, press firmly.
5. Remove top of tape, press firmly to seal. Voila!
But the removal was definitely trickier. Not sure if I like this option nearly as much as the permanent bonding. I'd rather just do this once and get it over with.

I was doubtful about this product, but as someone who constantly wears the same pants or skirt with 4 inch pumps or flats, I love the idea of having the option to change the hem of my pants or skirt! I can't believe how well the adhesive stays on the fabric! Super easy to use and convenient enough to throw right into your purse. LOVE THESE!

I love the fact that it is not permanent. I plan to use it on a pair of pants that i usually wear with high heels but that I would like to put on with flats for a casual family function.

This product is made for people like me who find most sewing jobs very challenging and don't have the funds to hire a tailor to hem most of the clothes I buy. (While I am not short, my legs are short relative to my body so most pants, skirts and dresses I buy are too long.)
The product was a bit fiddly to use at first but worked great on a too-long dress of mine and survived one washing and drying just fine. This will become a staple in my household!
