I wear petite bottoms, and due to the limited petite selection of pants and jeans in Canada compared to the US, my choice is very limited due to hemming costs.

This is so handy, and because it is adjustable, I can change the length of the hem depending on what shoes I'm wearing, what is in style, or what the occasion is! Why wasn't this invented sooner?

I got Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape free to try through ChickAdvisor.
I have to say, I'm fairly happy with it. I like to turn up the cuffs of my jeans, but not all the time, so a temporary hem tape is perfect.
It lasted through the day. I didn't have two different hem lengths like normal, and I didn't need to adjust.
I did forget to take them off before washing, but they still came off easily even after the heat of the dryer.
What I'm excited to try, using on a button up shirt like another reviewer suggested!

I received this product free from Chick Advisor. I am 5'2 so hemming of some kinda is usually necessary unless I buy petite pants. I love how easy these are to use. Much better than safety pins and they let me try out different lengths before committing to one.

I was lucky enough to get chosen to receive this product free to review and boy was I pleased!!Since I am no seamstress I loved the ease with which I could hem my husband's trousers which were a wee bit long for him!The whole process was easy peasy as 1 2 3 all you had to do was follow the directions! I give this a two thumbs up \m/\m/ It has lasted through 2 washes by now!So for me it is a win win situation!!!

I received the 3M Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape as a free sample to review. I used these strips to hem a pair of jeans that were a bit too long, especially when I was wearing sneakers or flats instead of boots. This 3M tape was easy to use, all I had to do was measure/fold the bottom of my pants leg, iron a bit, and then apply the double sided tape. I used two pieces of tape for each leg of my jeans. This is a good, temporary method to hem jeans or whatever else you need to shorten. Easier than using staples like I used to !

This came in handy for my kids Halloween dress up party. Took me a while to figure out.. But it worked and I was ecstatic. By the next evening though we couldn't use the clothes for trick or treating because the tape had unglued in different sections, so had repeat the process which was a bummer. I got this free in exchange for an honest review, thanks to Chick Advisor and Scotch essentials but I probably wouldn't purchase.

I received this for free as part of a product tester campaign through chickadvisor. This product is great to use when you don't have time to wait for your pants to get hemmed, no scissors needed. I was able to test this product on a few pairs of jeans and the results were great. It was easy to use, it stayed in place well, and it was definitely easier then using a needle and thread. I would recommend this product to a friend!
