This by far is the greatest new invention in my life since sliced bread!
I tend to buy my pants a little longer as I fear that they will shrink as soon as the go anywhere near my washer. The Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape is absolutely the best for my quick fix hem situations when I'm wearing flats and my pant legs are just a tad too long (nothing looks more unprofessional than worn raggedy pant legs in a work presentation). I was so pleased with how easy the strips were to use and there are so many in the pack! I was so happy that I shared a few with my colleagues in a "you gotta try this!!" bout of excitement!

This would be a great item when you don't have the time or needle & thread to fix that hem that you didn't notice BEFORE you put it on and left for work/shopping was drooping. It's a quick fix that will work in an emergency. Great for your desk at work or part of your travel items.

As stated, "Change your hem length without commitment". I have a midi skirt that I always thought would look great for the colder season with boots if only I could shorten it slightly. I've looked at tons of how-to's online but was still hesitant that I will make a mistake and destroy everything. Thankful to be able to try out the Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape I went right into work! Easy instructions to follow, I managed to turn my midi skirt into a knee-length skirt! The tape stayed on the entire day and removing the tape at the end was not a problem. Overall, super satisfied with the Adjustable Hem Tape. Whether you're a pro at sewing or not, I highly recommend this product - easy to use and gets the hemming job done within seconds!

I received this product from the Product Review Club to try so thank you to Scotch and ChickAdvisor! I love this product. I borrowed a pair of pants from my friend who is taller then myself so I needed to shorten them but obviously couldn't permanently do so..I was really happy to have the Hem tape. It was not only a quick fix but also an easy to use double sided tape that allowed me to easily hem the pants, wear them, then remove the hem and return the pants. It worked great! The tape held all day and night and easy came off for washing and to return the pants. I absolutely recommend this product. As a short girl it makes life easy!

Hemming my pants is one of my biggest pet peeves. A pair of pants costs $80, and then I have to pay another $10 because I am short. I love that some places have started to have short girl pants, but even those need to be adjusted to fit my height. Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape is a great alternative until you can get to a seamstress. Once you put the tape on it does a really good job at adhering. The look isn't as clean as if they have been hemmed, but I love having the option for brand new pants so I can wear them right away.

Although it is just a simple piece of 2 sided tape, it has a really strong hold as it worked well on some thicker fabrics. As a lazy person who can't really sew, this is definitely a fantastic product to have ! The price is reasonable for the pack of 24. It's nice to be able to adjust the lengths of my bottom effortlessly and without making it permanent.

I received this product to review from ChickAdvisor. This item is fantastic in terms of function! I often wear flats, but do wear heels now and then. Before, i would separate my pants out into "pants for flats", and "pants for heels". With this product, I effectively have now doubled my wardrobe options as I can now wear my "pants for heels" with flat shoes by using this as a temporary hem solution to shorten those pants.

The product is very easy to use. It's definitely easier applying the strips in shorter lengths along the hem. I cut the strips half again as I found that it gives a better hem look and seal. I like how after using the tape, it's very easy to take off and does not leave a residue after my pants have been laundered.

I did find that the lasting power was better with softer fabrics than with with my heavy denim jeans. When I used them with my crepe pants, the hem stayed put until I took the tape off. With my jeans, I had to periodically press the hem back into place.

Overall, I still love this product and absolutely recommend it if you want to be able to double the wearing options for your pants.

I just received this from product review and I have to say that I'm already loving it! Clothes tend to fit me (meaning I don't often need to shorten anything) so it's more a personal preference to alter some parts. That's why these Scotch Essentials were an instant hit for me. They let me experiment with some hemming, without having to commit long-term if that's not the purpose. They're super easy to use, very adhesive and discrete. Love it.
