I was going to a halloween outdoor activity and decided to pull out my fleece lined pants. They needed a quick hem up so I pulled out the kit. I used 8 strips and actually did it while wearing the pants !. The tape is holding and seems secure. I just needed to roll up so I did not need to iron a seam . It was quick and easy and I was done in under 10 minutes. I did find I had to be careful peeling the tape off for the application to the pants as some of the strips the tape was not coming off. They have a split in the middle so just be carefull. The pants were wide legged so that helped with the application while wearing. And yes I will be purchasing these again. I am short and usually have to hem my pants. Being a last minute shopper I have used masking tape on many occasions and these work so much better and stick !! Being cut into smaller strips also helps keep the lines smooth so no worries about creasing in the wrong place. Definately a keeper.

So super easy to use! Being a mom of 3 kids i know just how fast they grow. I had a skirt for my youngest daughter that needed to be hemmed but didnt want it to be permanent so that when she grows i can take it out and they she can continue to wear it. I'm amazing and thats thanks to Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape. All the other moms are envious because they think I'm this super mom that can fix anything lol I had to let them know my little secret was Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape.

I LOVE this product! its actually my favourite of the scotch essentials.

Being short you tend to come into a lot of problems with length of pants, skirts and dresses and which shoes to pair with. With the scotch essential adjustable hem tape, problem is solved.
Got a pair of work pants you love but only can be wore with heels, no problem apply the tape and Walah, you have pants that you can now wear with ballet slippers or kitten heels. Same for maxi dresses or skirt, etc. Quick, easy and painless.
another advantage....Its not permanent. You just peel it off after.

My son is in cadets and was just issues a new pair of slacks that were way too long for him. I didn't want to get them hemmed because he grows out of pants way too fast and I'd just have to let the hem down in a matter of weeks. I decided to try the Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape on them.

I found the application to be really easy. I measured and ironed the pants for a clean look. I then applied the tape and it looked great.

I really like this tape as it allows me to have my son's pants hemmed temporarily. I will just remove the tape before I wash them next and reapply if necessary.

It holds hems in place and while it is only temporary and you have to remove it before washing, I like that it is not permanent and you can make corrections or sew your hem properly at a later stage. I found it easier to work with shorter strips at a time rather than one long strip. A perfect item to keep in your purse or in your drawer at work for quick little repair jobs.

I really liked this. Its great for a quick hem. I actually used it on a pair of window sheers and I like how its not permanent so if I decided to change the sheers to a different window, I can readjust the length. Very easy to use, and works the way its supposed to. Great product!

Some of us don't know how to hem pants on our own and let's face it's, it's super expensive to have them hemmed professionally. Even when we do get them hemmed, we have different shoes and different heels, which either leaves these pants to short or too long, which wears out the bottom. I love having them on hand so i can make quick adjustments to my pants and don't have to plan ahead, deciding which pants and shoes i can wear. This product gets the job done quickly. I also,love that it's not permanent and can easily be removed from the pants.

I LOVE this product! One of my pet peeves is how difficult it is to deal with pant and skirt hems based on the type of shoes I'm wearing... I actually own several similar looking skirts and pants with different hem lengths so they look good whether I'm in ballet flats or heels.

This is such a great product. You apply the tape and boom, you've got a shorter hem without a permanent alteration! So great particularly if I'm leaving work and walking somewhere. I've had to do the dreaded pant fold so the hem doesn't drag on the ground when I change into my flats... this was super handy for that.

I also see this being useful for my baby's pant hems too.

I received this product complimentary of ChickAdvisor for review. I love that this product is not permanent and can be adjusted every time I wash it. The reason being is I am using this to adjust the hems on infant's pants. They are just a little too long. Once they start growing taller I can adjust the hem again. It was really easy to use, just peel and stick like double sided tape. I hemmed the pants in the morning and by mid-late afternoon it was still holding up pretty well with just one edge of the pants becoming a little loose. I just had to press it again and it stuck back on. The only hassle is that I have to remove the tape before washing it and sometimes I might forget as it is really easy to just toss it into the basket without thinking. Overall, I would definitely repurchase this product as they are perfect for infants and toddler pants that are way too long.

I received this product for free from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I love them! They worked great on my skinny jeans, leggings, and dresses too!! All sorts of fabrics! They have a strong hold and it stayed in place the entire day. This product is definitely reliable. It was easy to use all I had to do was measure/fold the bottom of my pants leg, iron a bit, and then apply the double sided tape. I used two pieces of tape for each leg of my jeans. This is a good, temporary method to hem jeans or whatever else you need to shorten. Better than using staples like I used to ! Works great, easy to use and doesn't leave any residue. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs a quick tailor!
