I think this is a great idea especially if you like to change up your shoes. I have many favorite outfits that I can only wear with very high heel due to the pant length. Now with Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape I can easily and quickly make any of my pants or skirts shorter. Simply turn the garment inside out and fold up the hem to your desired length. Peel off adhesive strip and stick it to the inside edge. Peel off the top paper layer to reveal the sticky tape and fold up the portion you want as your new hem and firmly press. It is that easy! Since this is not a permanent product, it must be removed before laundering but what I love the most is you easily change your hem length whenever you want to depending on the shoes or boots you are wearing. I was delighted to receive this product to review for ChickAdvisor. I thought it was easy to apply and pretty secure. I used it as a temporary hem guide for my tailor to use to hem my pants. My tailor doesn't have a place to try on clothes, so you have to bring it to them ready-to-sew. Other than that, I'm not sure what else I would use the adjustable hem tape for, unless I had an item that I wanted to weat as both long and shore.

This product is genius. I always have the problem where I wear sandals or flats in the summer causing my pants to be too long. In the winter, it's too short when I wear heels or boots. Very easy to use and now I don't have to buy a second pair of pants for just the length. Should be in all clothes stores.

I thought this was a great idea and I can see it being used a lot for a lot of different clothing items. I have a dress that I always wanted shortened, but I didn't want to have it sown and have to keep it at that length. So this was prefect for me and for my dress. Now I can raze and lower the length depending on where I'm going and don't have to make either permanent. Its easy to use, doesn't damage your clothing and stay's in place until you take it off. It's also a great product for anyone that like's to borrow cloths from friends that maybe a little taller than you are.

This is a great way for me to hem pants without sewing and it doesn't take long at all. I'm amazed at how easy it is and the staying power as well. It's fool-proof!

Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape was sent to me by 3M and chickadvisor free to test. I loved the idea of a quick fix for women like me who are sewing challenged. This product is great to help hold a dropped hem during the work day. Also great for a simple DIY quick update to a longer skirt with out the drastic change because with this you can return it to the normal length when you want. This is a fun product for the busy woman and an excellent for your office desk emergency kit.

I just received these from chick advisor and I must say they are my new must have! I have been blessed a short woman and have my clothes tailored. Sometimes those hems don't always stay and I need to fix it quick or risk ruining my clothes. These strips work great for a quick short term fix as they aren't meant to be left of permanently which is great until I can get back to the tailor!

This is an amazing product that I will be keep in my sewing kit at all times. It is so fast and easy to use and lasts!!! I have tried other hem tapes in the past that fall apart after only half a day.

My guys seem to grow like weeds, and buying new pants is not always an option. This Adjustable Hem Tape is exactly what I need; it grows with my kids : ) It is so easy to use, even the kids can help! Just last week I bought a pair of pants that were too long in the leg, so I measured the length of the pant, placed the tape at the right length and folded over the pants pressing down firmly ( or you can use an iron for crisper results) it took no time at all and they look great. The best part is in a few weeks when my son grows again: i don't buy him a new pair, I simply can do it over again! With out all the fuss of actually sewing.
