I was really disappointed in the Adjustable hem tape. I used it on my son's jeans and it didn't hold for more than an hour. I would not recommend using this.

This product is a good idea, but is seriously overpriced at $9.99 since it is essentially just double-sided tape that you can find at any hardware store. Would be good for emergencies, I suppose, but I would predict that I would forget to remove it prior to laundering. Clever marketing, though!

Thanks to ChickAdvisor for giving me the opportunity to try for free Scotch Essentails Adjustable Hem Tape. I love the packaging, it's chic. You get a fair amount of tape, so if you mess up you can do it again. I found it was just OK. It's good if you are in a bind, but definatly not permanent solution. I found that after I hemmed my jeans, the hem was coming unstuck after an hour. So I had to carry the extra tape with me.

I found this didn't fair very well. Did not keep hemmed for very long and fell apart. I would rather just take a few extra moments and just sew it.
