I received these for free from Chick Advisor and 3M in exchange for an honest review. I am not sure what I was expecting but I was surprised to find little pins in the package. You peel off the sticky font and stick on your button and then put it on your garment like you would a pin (the kind where you squeeze the back-like the little flag lapel pins). It is not all that comfortable to wear if the garment if close fitting, but in a pinch these things are genius! I have put the rest of them in my purse for any wardrobe malfunctions that may occur. This definitely is a purse must for anyone who has ever lost a button on their blouse while at work!
So cool! I showed my mom and that's what she said about this product. It's great for emergencies or for someone that can't sew a button on. The button stuck on the adhesive quite well. I have to remember to remove the pin through the button hole before I wash the garment because I doubt the button will still onto the adhesive in the washing machine.
The Scotch Essentials Easy Fix Button kit is very easy to use. They are very simple to use and seem to have great staying power.
These easy fix buttons are very useful to keep around. There has been many times I've popped a button and needed some help to fix it. Gone are the days of the safety pin.
I found the product very useful and really easy to use. I'm not to keen on having to remove the pin everytime before laundering. It does do a good job with the temporary fix until you can sew your button back on. I would like to see a perminant no sew button fix in the future
I really liked this product , its a great easy fast fix for someone on the go in a hurry , and i was surprised at how long its been lasting so far , ive washed my clothes a few times and they still stay strong !
I received this product along with the Hem tape from chickadvisor to try! These are such handy products to have with you in case of a wardrobe malfunction. I had a button pop off my shirt at work, and had the Scotch ones with me luckily. They were super easy to apply and they lasted all day. These are great for when you need something quick.
I received my free sample of #ScotchEssentials Easy Fix Button in exchange for my honest opinion. This is another wonderful item from @ScotchProducts. It is super easy to use. Just remove one of pins from the package and peel off the paper from the adhesive. Then pick the appropriate color button. (comes with 4 buttons, two that are clear, one that is black and one that is grey). Press the button you have chosen onto the sticky adhesive that is on the pin and press for about 10 seconds. Next simply remove the metal pin backing and pierce the pin with the button attached through your garment. (where your your lost button was) Replace the metal pin backing and you are done. It is like a little tie tac with a button stuck to the front of it. In-genius! You are done. Your shirt, shirt or pant is mended without any need for a needle or thread. Love it! Remember to remove this temporary button solution before you launder or dry clean your clothes. The nice thing is you can simply re-attach it after you dried and ironed your item. So easy. So convenient. Thank you @ChickAdvisor for allowing me the opportunity to discover and share this great and very helpful product. By the way readers you get four pins, four backings and four buttons in this package and the retail price is $9.99. Not too bad especially if you hate sewing or just don't have the time. P.S. I think this would be a great stocking stuffer especially for the elderly or college aged friends and family.
Reviewed this free from Chickadvisor and was unable to review this item because all my buttons are on my clothes. Will review when the time comes
First I'd like to thank ChickAdivor and Scotch Essential for choosing me to review Scotch Essential Easy Fix Button. I don't know how many time's I've had my husband, or one of my boy's come up to me and ask me to fix their buttons on their shirts. It always seems to happen right before we're ready to walk out the door and I don't sow. I'm lucky if I can get a button to stay on, so I thought this was a great idea. I found these very easy to use and they're great when you're in a pinch, but they aren't at complete fix. In other words they won't last, they're just a temporary fix. I think they would be great for people that work where they have to dress nicely. They can keep them handy in their purse, or pocket for a quick fix at work. I also think it would be something a bride and her wedding party should have on hand in case of a button mishap, but other than that, I wouldn't go out of my way to buy more.
Was sent this by chickadvisor; it is a good product but it's a temp fix which is okay too but by the look of the front, it would seem like it was a permanent one.
